At some point, Hayden had dozed off. Though, she had no clue how. It's dangerous to fall asleep in the woods. But it was really late, and she was tired. And really thirsty. She didn't know what time it was, or if anyone was coming to get her. It didn't seem like it anymore. All she knew was she heard someone or something moving around in the darkness behind her. And that terrified her.
She sat as still as humanly possible, her eyes straight forward. Whatever it was, maybe it would just pass right by her. Maybe if she sat still enough it wouldn't notice her. The crack of a branch right next to her sent a chill down her spine. She swallowed, her eyes staying forward. And then she heard a familiar voice, and her body relaxed immediately. She looked up, not caring that she would probably be in huge trouble. ¨I wanted to find a vehicle. But I got lost after a little while. I tried making my way back to camp, but apparently I went the wrong way.¨ She whispered, grabbing the water and taking a sip. She wanted to gulp it all, but it was Bellamy's and she figured he needed some too. She handed it back to him and stood up, her legs stiff.
¨Thank you for coming to find me. I thought no one was looking.¨ She heard another twig snap and jumped. Her eyes darting to the darkness around them. She heard the cry of a doe and calmed down. ¨I just have this thing where I think of something, and I tend to do it. I love being able to complete an idea and start on the next one. Like finding a vehicle, or climbing the tallest tree. Or maybe just building something. It's my favorite thing to do. And most of them require being out of camp, and since I can't leave camp without permission, and I know I would most likely be told no, I kind of just… leave. Normally i'm back before anyone notices, but today, obviously, I got lost. I'm sorry.¨ She snapped her mouth shut when she was done, embarrassed of the rambling. Her eyes fell to the ground, but her chin stayed up. She hoped Bellamy thought she was still looking at him. |

Hayden couldn't believe it. She had actually made it out of camp without any incident! Normally it took hours to find a way out of camp without anyone seeing her. But today, she slipped right out. Whoever was on guard wasn't where they should of been, so it made getting out really easy. She could probably spend all day out in the woods. Her mission today? Find an abandoned vehicle. She had never seen one, and she really wanted too. She knew there had to be at LEAST one somewhere near the camp. She would find it, even it took multiple trips.
She was excited. She walked through the trees, her eyes searching the ground for anything that would indicate a vehicle. Any odd color or change in texture. She didn't know what she would do if she found one, maybe keep it for herself. Use it as her place to go to when she needed to be by herself or get away from camp for a while. Maybe she would use it as a place to keep her projects. People tended to get angry if they found them and realized she had used up wood or supplies to build them.
Her eyes scanned the bushes around her. Maybe they had grown over a car? Would the color of the brush tell her that? Probably not. But if she poked and prodded around every rock and bush she found, maybe she would find one faster. But then again, that would take up more time and she wouldn't be able to go as far in one day. She felt her stomach growl. Maybe she should have brought some rations, but then again, she wouldn't be out all day. She could just eat when she got back.
Six Hours later.
It had been six hours, and nothing. She had searched for miles around the camp. She actually didn't really know where she was, just that it was getting late. Probably around four in the afternoon. She was hungry, thirsty, and really bored. She had figured she would at least find something to let her know a vehicle had been anywhere near the camp. Maybe a tire or one of the mirrors that sat on the side of the car. But so far she didn't see anything but trees and rocks.
She was bummed, and worried. She couldn't remember which way she had come from, or how to get back from camp from here. She actually didn't even know how far away she was. She hadn't been paying as much attention as she thought she had been. She was lost and no one knew where she was, or when she had left camp. Maybe if she just wandered in one direction she would find camp. It couldn't be too far. She would find it before night fall.
Or maybe not.
It was really dark outside, and the sounds coming from around her were slightly terrifying. But she would be okay. She was sitting in one spot, against a tree, and she knew someone was looking for her. Someone had to have noticed her absence by now. She hoped they had. Because she was lost. Really, really lost. And if no one noticed she was gone, she would be lost all night. And probably most of tomorrow. And maybe the day after that. She really hoped someone was looking for her. She brought her knees up to her chest and put her head on her knees. She let her eyes wander around, but with how dark it was she couldn't really see much, and she was starting to see things moving in the dark. She really hoped it was just her mind playing tricks on her. |

name is up to you NAME is Hayden's adopted daughter. She is an 11 year old girl who was sent with the 100 on a small crime. Which is completely up to you. Once they landed on the ground, Hayden immediately helped the little girl recover and helped her through the transition. They became attached at the hip, and Hayden took her in as a daughter pretty much. Everything else is up to you except for that one small aspect. Even face claim is up to you.
Derek - - Derek is Haydens longtime boyfriend. They were both arrested at the same time, because whatever Hayden gets into, Derek gets into. He is very caring towards Hayden, how he acts towards other people is up to you. He understands Hayden is out there and he knows how to handle her when she gets into one of her fits of "I need to test this". He treats NAME just as Hayden does, as a daughter. Everything except his face claim and first name is up to you. I would like how he treats Hayden and NAME to remain the same as well.

Hayden is a beautiful, blond hair, blued eyed seventeen year old girl. She is inbetween athletic and bean pole skinny, though she tries to keep herself more athletic than anything. She stand pretty straight, though one half of her body is shorter than the other due to her scoliosis, making it hard for her to achieve this. She has a scar over her right eye from when she fell as a child and busted her eyebrow open, though it is only noticeable if you look hard enough. She has a dimple on her right hip, which she finds annoying but at this point is use to it.

Hayden is... as some people call it, "out there". She is immature ninety five percent of the time, and mature only out of dire necessity. She tends to space out and go into her own little world whenever the chance arises. In that world she imagines different scenarios, the good and the bad. If she finds one she likes, she tries her hardest to make it happen. Though most of the time fate or other people think better of it for her.
She does have a good sense of emotions, though. If she senses someone is upset or depressed, she has the natural ability to calm them down. She is in no way, shape, or form a healer, but she could easily be a counselor. Her way of thinking differently than most, and her ability to sense emotions makes her the perfect fit. She loves people and making them smile, and she would go out of her way to help anyone. Even if she, herself, needed help. Other people come first in her head.
Denny is actually very smart. Most of the scenario building has given her time to process the things she has learned over the years. She can work her way through almost any problem, though there are some cases she can't work through (no one is perfect). She can build tools and trinkets to help with certain situations, and she can find her way into hiding spots no one would have noticed. In all reality, it's more her perception of the world that helps her with these things. She doesn't rely on normal sense of thinking, so she can focus on other things that most people would not. Ergo, figuring out strange situations or hiding spots.

Hayden was born on the ark, as were all of the other arkers. Unlike the others though, she hated it. She knew from the stories what life on the ground had been like, and she wished she could have lived it. And by chance, she broke the law and was locked away just in time to be sent to the ground with the others. All she did was sneak into the nurses bay to try and live out her nursing scenario. But she got caught, and she suffered the consequences. On the ground, Hayden is in heaven. She can run around the woods, feel the dirt and grass on her feet. It's everything she could have dreamed of. Though she misses her parents, she knows they wouldn't speak to her even if they were with her. They see her breaking the law as her committing murder, so they disowned her. But being on the ground, she has made a new family among the other kids.
