Klara was kind of surprised by how light the girl was, it just make helping her easier and Klara was glad about that even if she would have help the girl whatever happened. It was normal for her, she was the kind of person who wanted needed to help people around. But it wasn't the right time to think about that, they needed to get away and they needed to do it fast. They were moving forward as fast as they could but Klara was careful of where she walked but also and mostly of where the girl walked. So Klara would sometimes rather walk on something unstable if it meant that the other girl walked on something more stable which was better for her injured leg.
But despite all their efforts, they might not be fast enough to reach the cave Klara had in mind, it would totally depend on their pursuers' skills to track somebody. Because she was now quite sure they will try to find them, she could hear their voices behind her. "Always." Klara answered the girl as she asked her if she knew any safe place around there and then she added "Don't worry, we're going to be okay.". She wasn't sure if these words were meant to reassure the other scout or herself but at least, she wasn't losing hope. When she finally saw the entrance of the cave, she told the other girl "See those trees with the rock next to them? Good news is there's a cave right behind them. Bad one is that we will have to climb the rock to get on the other side and so be able to enter the cave...". Klara was certain that the girl could do it with her help, that rock wasn't that big.

Klara wasn't totally ready to tell her whole story to Emori. She had just met the girl and she had tried to rob her so anybody who would have been at her place would probably not want to talk about their past with a stranger. They wouldn't even have saved the thief who was trying to steal from them. But Klara risked her life to do so. So that plus the fact that she had already gave a part of an answer to the other girl made her feel like she didn't have to keep answering to the quesions about her past for now, the girl already knew enough. That was why Klara didn't say anything when Emori asked with a surprised tone if the scout was a thief before. She just didn't want to share right now. Seeing how impatient the girl was made Klara smile but she also understood her, feeling vulnerable in an enemy territory with warriors pursuing yourself was quite a good reason to be impatient. " Yes, it's just down there..." the scout said pointing the cave entrance direction. All they had to do to get there was to go down the slope they were on the top of and then they will be safe. Klara laughed softly at the thief's words " Maybe. But maybe there wouldn't have been Trikru warriors around so I wouldn't have taken an arrow in my shoulder..." she said not that she wanted Emori to feel guilty, it totally was Klara's fault if she got injured. The truth was that Klara understood the girl too well, she was the same before and she would probably still be like that if nothing had changed in her life, if she hadn't been trained as a scout. Emori's words made Klara learn two things, first a thing about the girl, she had a brother which made her wonder why she wasn't with him and the second thing about her injury and how bad it was. Learning these two things, the scout was happy to learn more about the thief but she was also worry about her own health. " Does it look that bad that you're almost sure we can't deal with it by ourselves?" Klara asked smiling trying to hide her concern. But as Emori told her she should go see a healer, the Trikru girl told her " I can't go see a healer because if I do so, I'll be asked questions about what happened earlier... And I'm not sure I can easily explain why I have a Trikru archer's arrow in my shoulder... So I guess that means I'm going to have to trust you and hope that we have enough knowledge of healing to take care of that...". seren1

Walking around the Skaikru camp expecting to find some wounded deer or another animal, Klara was surprised to see another Trikru scout hardly getting up because of an injury in her leg. Klara wasn't sure of the reason why the man who had fired several shots had done it. As she hadn't noticed the other scout, she was almost certain that they hadn't spotted her either. but they had probably done it now so they needed to hurry before the team they decided to send to look for their victim came there and found the two grounders.
Knowing they needed to go away as fast as they could, Klara let the girl putting her arm around her shoulders so she won't have to put too much weight on her wounded leg "I got you." she said smiling at the girl and helping her to stay up sustaining her like she could in order to alleviate her pain. "You will thank me later when we will be in a safer place... But you're welcome!" Klara muttered already hearing the Skaikru group getting closer which meant it was time for them to go.
"Okay, we definitely need to go now. I'm sorry in advance because it's not going to be a great ride even if I'll do my best to make it more comfortable for you..." Klara told the Trikru girl knowing that she must have been aware of that. And as she had seen the other scout's nod meaning she was ready, Klara began to walk as fast as she could in the direction of the nearest safe place she knew without rushing too much so the Trikru girl won't feel too much pain because of the shifting. She had chosen a quite well hidden cave hoping it will prevent the invaders from finding them if they decided to go search for them.

Everything had happened very fast since invaders had fallen from the sky. And since the news arrived in Polis, scouts were sent one after another with the same mission: learning as much as they could about sky people without being noticed. That was why Klara was on the forest this night not far from the invaders' camp, spying on them. She was secretly hoping that they were pacifist so she won't have to worry for the orphans. She already worried too much for them when she had to go on a mission leaving them on their own. But she had quickly understand that the least she could do for them while she was away was to be careful to came back in one piece.
So she concentrated herself on her mission and got closer to the camp, staying in the shadows of the night. But while she was walking quietly around the camp, Klara saw the enemies becoming agitated and taking their guns. It made her wonder if she had been spotted so she stopped hiding behind a tree. Suddently, she heard gunshots. They had just shoton something or someone that Klara was pretty sure they couldn't see, they probably just heard it. And as she could tell that the probably wounded animal or person wasn't far from her, Klara had to see if it wasn't one of her people as she knew she wasn't the only scout having been sent there. Getting closer to the place she hoped she will just find some injured animal, she found a Trikru girl. "Let me help you!" she said hearing the sky people going out of the camp to see what they shot.

Walking quietly in the forest followed by the girl she just saved, Klara was thinking of how she was going to cure her wound. She wanted to wait to be at the cave before talking about what happened but as the girl really seemed to want to know why the scout did what she just did, she decided to give her the begining of an answer " Let's just say that I have my reasons... I haven't been a scout for all my life... I know what a thief life is..." she didn't say more. She will tell the girl more but first she needed to get to the cave so she could look at her injured shoulder. Klara understood the girl believed her and began to trust her when the thief gave her her name: Emori. " Well, nice to meet you Emori... Even if I wish we had met in other circumstances." she simply said smiling at the girl. And as Emori told her she should get somebody to look at her injury, Klara said " I will take care of that when we will be at the cave... Do you have any healer skills? she asked it just in case Emori could help her because it will be very weird if she went to a Trikru healer with a Trikru archer's arrow in her shoulder. What would she say about how she got that? The only thing she could hope for was that the wound won't get infected. seren1

Klara smiled and nodded at Clarke as a "you're welcome" before saying " Always.". Klara didn't want Clarke to thank her, it was normal for her, she had always been like that with her friends. If you were close to her, she was there for you no matter what happened. So when she had seen how bad Clarke seemed to be, Klara thought she needed to cheer her up or at least she needed to try to. That was how she was and she didn't need to be thanked for that but she was happy to see that she was helpful. When Clarke confirmed that she could be the leader they needed, Klara felt a little relieved, in her heart she knew her friend was able to be a great leader but she needed to hear her say it. " Of course I know. I just wanted to know if you believe it too.". But even if she knew Clarke was able to lead them well, Klara could see that her friend will need to rely on the Skaikru boy and her. " Of course not tonight... You need to rest like all of us..." she paused before speaking again " I will always let you... Come here..." she opened her arms to her friend to hug her. Clarke Griffin

Klara didn't see how making a scout of her was the right thing to do for their people but she wasn't going to argue with Lexa about that, she will just obey and trust her on this decision. Plus, Lexa was nice enough to let her free so Klara owe her one. But she was still annoyed by the idea she could cause troubles to the Commander and knowing that she didn't mind it didn't make her more comfortable with it. " You know that I can't do that... If someone cause you trouble because of me, I won't stay quiet and let it happen..." Klara told Lexa explaining her what she felt about this. She had always been protective, so she couldn't let things like that happen to her friends or to anybody close to her. " Maybe you're right and it doesn't have to define me but it's still a part of who I am, it's how people see me and it's not going to change whatever I do." Klara said as Lexa told her that being a thief didn't have to define her. Then as Lexa spoke about the orphans and how what Klara did for them was important, she answered " I just do what I can to make their lives easier than mine was at their age. It would have been selfish to let them on their own knowing how hard it is to grow up alone." she strongly believed they deserved so much better than her life but life was unfair and nobody could do something about that. Klara listened carefully to Lexa's answers to her questions before saying " With all due respect, Lexa, I think you overestimate me... I can't really see which skills I have that you can need... But if you think I can be useful as a scout then I believe you." Her words were true, she didn't see how her thief skills could be useful for a scout but it didn't matter, she will probably find it out soon enough. Then when Lexa gave her the permission to go to TonDC with the person who will take care of the orphans while she will be away training, Klara smiled at her and thanked her. Derrick

" Well I guess it depends on what you know... And that's what I think based on what I know about you and what I knew about her but I totally understand that other people don't see it this way.". Klara didn't like the way people judged on others' appearences, she was the kind of person who thought it was important to give people a chance and to know about them before judging them. But unfortunately not everyone was like this especially now with everything that had happened. And if Klara hadn't been this kind of person, she may have met Clarke but they won't be friends like they were because if she had just judge her and based herself on what she had been told, she wouldn't have been that nice with the Skaikru girl. As Clarke said that saving Lexa may not have been winning, Klara frowned not really sure of understanding what Clarke meant but keeping listening to her. The Skaikru girl's next words made Klara understand what was going on " Yeah, that's what's on your mind about all that happened but I think you will need to tell someone what's on your heart some day if you want to feel better about it... And when this day will come, I'll be there for you if you want me to..." Klara stoped letting Clarke some time before adding" But you're right, for now we need to focus on finding a safe place to save everybody. But to do that our team need a strong leader who's concentrated on our mission and only on our mission all the time, so are you sure you can be this leader right now?" Klara didn't doubt of Clarke's abilities as a leader, she was glad to have her as their team leader but she both wanted and needed her to be okay so she could be focused on their goal and be able to make choices as hard as they might be. As the thief answered to her words by a not so warm " You followed me?", Klara explained " Actually I did but I made sure that they didn't... which is quite easy for a scout..." she had lowered her voice for the last part but she said it loud enough for the girl to hear hoping that telling her some details would make her a little less suspicious. Klara was almost sure that the girl didn't take her seriously when she said she knew how it felt to be a thief and it was understandable, it seemed like she was just trying to win some time or to stop the girl from stealing her. The scout found logical that the girl thought she was doing that, after all she didn't expect the thief to trust her not even to believe her. But she knew that if someone had helped her as she just did for this girl, she would have been very grateful and she would have wanted to know why they helped. That was why she thought that the girl was going to follow her when she spoke about a safe place. When she began to walk and saw that the thief had apparently decided to follow, Klara let a little smile appear on her face. " Like I said, I'm a scout. I know loads of places where you can hide from Trikru warriors for a while..." she said knowing that it didn't really answer to the thief's question so adding " I think following me is one of your best chances to leave Trikru territory unharmed.". Because yes, it was what Klara wanted for the thief, at least it was what she wanted if the girl had a good reason for stealing which Klara was pretty sure she did, a lot of thieves did what they did because they didn't have another choice. But before she could ask the girl why she did this, Klara needed to earn her trust so she decided to introduce herself instead of walking quietly until they got to the cave " By the way, I'm Klara, a Trikru scout as you have understand." maybe by telling her that she will at least get this girl's name. seren1

Klara was quite glad to see that apparently he should be okay but she was still very concerned for the little boy. "No problem, don't worry. You couldn't know." she answered as he apologised for the son part. She was aware that it must be hard for the doctor down there on Earth, she understood how weird it was that someone who wasn't a relative brought a patient to him. That was why, she couldn't blame Jackson for thinking that the boy she brought was her son, it seemed logical and totally human to think that.
As Jackson said that they couldn't do anything because medicine won't help them on that one, it didn't help her concern to go away and it almost brought her tears but as always she tried to deal with her feelings. Plus, it really wasn't the doctor's fault so she couldn't be mad at him and she couldn't show him how sad she was at the idea of losing the little boy. "Okay, I will do my best for him to recover quickly. And for humidity, don't worry... I know loads of places humid and we actually live in one of those so it should be fine.". It wasn't very hard to find humidity in the caves and that was where she was used to stay. "But I can't assure that he will be okay with the nasal irrigations... But I'll do my best to make him try it." she added.
Then when he spoke about having not to let the boy staying with other kids, Klara couldn't figure out how she was going to deal with it. Kids weren't what lacked around her so even if she wanted to isolate the boy to keep the other orphans safe, she had no idea how she was going to do it. "Limit his interactions with other children? That's going to be very hard to do... He lives with something like ten other kids so it might be difficult to keep him away from the others.".

Klara saw how relieved the doctor seemed to be when he heard her speaking English. She actually liked this language, plus she was a scout so she needed to know how to speak English, but the Arker couldn't know that. She felt a little relieved at her turn as Jackson told her that the young boy was fine for now. But when he invited her go sit on some chairs, she understood that something might be wrong, if the orphan was going to be fine, the doctor could have tell it to Klara now. So the scout followed the man, trying to prepare herself to hear what he was going to say which was very hard because she couldn't think of another thing than what happened to her mother years ago.
When the doctor looked over her before begining to speak, Klara focused on what he had to say, he had all her attention, especially since the moment he spoke about flu. "Flu? Do you think he's gonna be okay?" The flu... That was what they said when her mother became sick and it didn't end well so this news wasn't a good one at all for Klara, she couldn't live this story again. When he asked her if her son haad health issues, Klara noticed the use of the word son so she said softly "My son? I'm not his mother, I just take care of him...". She guessed the boy and the orphans wished they had a mother but unfortunately they didn't, all they had was her, a kind of big sister who worried for them and took care of them as well as she could. "I don't think he has health issues... He is a strong boy who rarely gets sick..." the scout answered before adding "You're sure there's nothing which could help him healing?".

After a long time spent on the forest hidden in caves in order to be and to keep the orphans safe during the whole City Of Light thing, Klara went to Polis with all the kids. The city was now calm but full of sadness, people who had taken the chip were all traumatised and the others were trying to forgive them but apparently it was hard. But this day, Klara didn't have the time to think about the silence which had settled in the capital. One of the orphans was sick, the young boy didn't feel very well since few days but as the doctors and healers were very busy so Klara had decided to try to stop his headaches and the fever with some plants or potions but it didn't work. All the contrary, it got worst so she brought him to the place where the doctors had settled. As soon as they arrived, a Skaikru man came to look over the boy. Klara let him go with the doctor and waited outside. The wait seemed so long, she hoped that what the boy had wasn't to bad. Years ago, her mother's illness had began the same way, some little symptomes which had became worst and worst and it had cost her her life. Klara wasn't ready to lose someone that way again. When she saw the doctor walking in her direction, she tried to calm down a little which was very hard right at the moment, she was so worry and stressed. As he presented himself before asking her if she spoke English, Klara answered " Hi, I'm Klara. And yes, I speak English. How is he?". She hoped the young boy was going to be okay. @severitysoftly OOC: No problem for the wait! ^^ Take all the time you need!

I guess what I fear the most is sickness because, you know, when someone I care is sick it just reminds me what happened to my mother and I don't want to lose someone else like that.

The girl was right, Klara knew nothing about her but she knew how it was to be a thief and usually thieves weren't killers, they only killed if they didn't have another option. " Maybe... But I may know what it is to be at your place... Plus if you really wanted to kill me, I guess you would have already done it so..." Klara stopped as she felt the pressure of the knife against her back. " Life would be boring if there weren't dangers in it." the scout said as the thief told her it was dangerous to make assumptions about someone who was threatening you with a knife, then she added " I don't want anyone to get hurt either so why don't you just let me go and everybody will be okay?". She wasn't expected the thief to give up and run away but she was trying to distract her. Klara might seem to be an easy target but she wasn't, she knew how to defend herself. Once she managed to get up after the attack, Klara decided to run after the girl, she needed to help her not to be caught by the Trikru warriors or the thief would be locked away if she wasn't executed, she wouldn't have the chance Klara had. Running as fast as the pain of her injured shoulder allowed her to, she tried to lose the warriors and to follow the girl she had just saved at the same time. When she finally found the thief, she was quite sure that the warriors were far behind them. " There's a safe place not far from here. Follow me, I'll lead you there." Klara said beckoning to the girl to insist on the fact she should follow her. Then, she began to walk in the direction of the cave, she will go there with or without the thief. She needed a safe place where she will be able to take a look at her injury to make sure it won't get infected. So the girl could follow or not, Klara hoped she will but she won't waste time and strength arguing if she didn't want to. seren1

Klara couldn't believe this, of course she didn't say Lexa was doing crazy thing without having thought about the consequences, she must have thought about it and weight up the pros and cons but when the thief was doing so, she couldn't see a consequence which worth the risk to let her free. If Lexa didn't lock her up or have her executed, Klara prefered not to imagine what her people will thought. They would think that Lexa isn't a great Heda because when the thief was someone she knew since her childhood she let her feels take the control. " But Lexa, think about what people will think if you do that... They will protest against your decision... I don't want to get you in trouble." Klara said to the Commander even if as the way she told Klara that she could and will the thief understood that the decision was made. But then Lexa used a very good and serious argument, the orphans. She was right, the orphans needed to have someone to take care of them but maybe they deserved someone better than her. " Do they deserved to have a thief as a guardian and mentor?" Klara answered to Lexa's question by another one. No, the orphans deserved a better person and maybe if she got locked away, this person would take her place. " Without me, these kids might be alive, they would just live in better conditions and have a better mentor than me which can't be difficult to find... I'm not a good person, I'm a thief and whatever my motivation is, it doesn't make me someone better...". " If you say so and as I have no other choice..." Klara finally agreed even if she wasn't enjoying the idea and she added " Just tell me two things Lexa, would you have done this for another person? And why do you do this?". As the Commander asked her if she needed someone to look after the kids after saying that the thief would be trained by one of the best scout, Klara answered " Yeah, I'm gonna need someone to take care of them but I will need to go see them with that person otherwise they will never trust this stranger...".
