Kyle sat on the table, swinging his legs while looking down at his tablet. Cute girl, but not his type. Still, he had never seen a sister before. Were there rules to sister's of friends? It felt like there should be rules to that. He'd have to ask---later. Currently he was waiting on Bellamy to come in. It had been a few months since everything had came out and Bellamy's mother floated. Kyle had gone to try to talk to his friend a few times but got nothing. So he'd made a mess and asked for a janitor. Being Bellamy was the one on duty for this area, this night it meant he knew who was coming.
He was supposed to be over seeing the damn mechanic, some guy working on some wiring, but he wasn't going to waste his time looking over the guy's shoulder unless he radioed for help. Instead he was using his temporally access to the prison camera system to find out what the sister looked like. He didn't look up when Bellamy walked in, but instead used his fingers to zoom in on the girl who was sitting on her bed reading an old worn book. "You made be cheat you get you to hang with me. Now there is paperwork. It's supposed to be bros before paperwork!" He joked, before looking up for the first time. "Not sure were sisters fall on that, but paperwork . . . you're making me fill out paperwork now."

my sister MY RESPONSIBILITY That night had changed everything. His mother was floated, his sister was arrested and . . . that was enough to make Bellamy feel as if his entire world had crumbled beneath him. He had sworn to protect his family, spending every second of every day trying to. But he had gotten reckless. Reckless, careless, and everyone but him paid the price for it. Why wasn't he floated too? Why only his mother, and inevitably Octavia when she reached 18. It wasn't fair. And it was why Bellamy wouldn't stop trying to appeal to the authorities to let him switch places with her. It was all he could do . . . and that powerlessness he felt made everything worse. He had been released of his position as cadet, and became a janitor as well. One of the few punishments -- with the inclusion of less rations.
But he didn't care about any of that. Food, sleep, nothing mattered. He just wanted his family back. He wanted to go back to that day and not take Octavia to the party. Bellamy had been informed that there was a spill in one of the station rooms, and when he entered, he immediately saw Wick. And what Bellamy didn't see, was a spill anywhere. Wick was talking and the Blake sibling was only half listening. He didn't want to talk. He didn't want to hear the term 'sister' because it was forever a reminder of his failure. It consumed his entire body, he didn't need to have a conversation about it either. He wasn't even allowed to see Octavia. "Either tell me where the spill is or I'm leaving." He wasn't going to stay for this. Wick was his friend, his good friend, but right now . . . he didn't want that. He didn't deserve to have a friend, or anyone else that he could also fail.

Someone was grumpy today. Clearly someone woke up on the wrong side of space this morning. Still, Ky;e didn't know what it was like to loos anyone, so he wasn't going to comment on Bellamy's bad mood. Instead he pointed at the spill on the floor. It was nothing--like a few drops of something he could have gotten up himself. "I am over seeing this guy, right, and he is working on the surveillance systems that they have to watch people--thank the freakin moon they don't have them everywhere! Awkward! But apparently they have them in this area to watch the kids."
He waited until Bellamy was a bit closer before he kept speaking--and ignored anything looks he gave or comments made about the spill. "Apparently locking a bunch of kids of in a box made them feel the need to watch them--like what rules are they going to break there?" He was just mouthing off now, drawing out the moment while playing with his tablet--flipping it around. "Instead of watching him, I am spying on the girls . . . . wanna see what a sister looks like? I've never seen one, but this one is cute--kind of looks like you which is weird I think that is cute, but I think in the old days sisters were off limits so I am thinking that still applies."
Kyle wasn't making a pass at Bellamy's sister, he was just doing what he always did and make jokes to cover the awkwardness of the moment. He hoped Bellamy knew that because if not then Kyle was about to get punched--and Blake had cadet training. Wick bet a punch would hurt like hell. With that he held out the tablet, the screen with Bellamy's sister facing him. The girl was sitting on her bed reading a book, and Kyle wished he had a way to sneak Bellamy in to see her, but he didn't. This was all he had to give. In a more serious and low voice he explained, "My access wont last long, but we can tell them it was one hell of a spill."
