.:Birthplace:. The Ark .:Family:. Parents on the Ark, unknown name, unknown f still alive .:Occupation:. Chemist and Gunner for the 100 .:History:. Jasper had gotten himself arrested and sent to juvenile lockup with his best friend Monty, after being caught stealing herbs for 'other' purposes. He was one of the chosen 100 to take the trip to Earth and try and live on the planet, making sure it would be inhabitable. On his first day he managed to help a group begin their journey for supplies on Mount weather, save Octavia from some kind of creature in the water, and get speared.
Jasper had no idea if he was going to live or die, and it took awhile for him to fully get back on his feet after the others rescued him. A debt he will never feel like he had paid fully.
After awhile, life on Earth became part of Jasper's norm, and dealing with the grounders was just one more thing they had to deal with. When he was tasked with going with Bellamy and Raven to the bridge to help look out for Clarke during an attempt at a truce, Jasper was nervous. He had a rifle in his hand, and had been able to see that the grounders had arrows pointed at Clarke ready to fire. He panicked, but thought his friend's life was in danger. Clarke was already slowly but surely becoming someone he considered as a close friend, someone who he had known forever but also someone who was clearly helping lead the 100. He couldn't just let then try to take her down. So he shot.
Octavia Blake was rather vocal about how she felt about what Jasper did, but in that moment he couldn't understand what he did wrong. His friend was in danger and he helped. But what Jasper was unaware of was the fact that he was still going through something, something that changed him after he had been impaled by a spear. And it was angry.
He had a brief moment where he was totally using the fact that it was apparently kind of cool that he shot a grounder and lived to tell the tale to the other arkers. He allowed himself to revel in the popularity of it. Even though he was still pretty hung up over Octavia.
After a bit, the Grounders were coming. A war was staging. And Jasper had a big role. He had to help Clarke and Raven, because Raven had been shot by Murphy. She was unable to move, Jasper had to be her hands and feet. After Raven passed up from injuries and exhaustion, Jasper had to try and remember everything she told him about the residual rocket fuel. When the time was right, Jasper used the magnet and the fuel exploded out killing 300 grounders with it.
The mountain men came an grabbed the rest of the 100 and brought them back to the mountain. They were basically being held there without being allowed to leave, but at first Jasper trusted them. He even began to fall for a girl named Maya. No matter how much Clarke seemed to lack trust, Jasper just couldn't trust her instincts. He wanted to believe that they were safe.
Once Clarke was missing, and Monty seemed to be the one who registered something was up, Maya informed Jasper that they were right. Clarke was right. The mountain men weren't up to any good, using grounders for blood and probably had a plan in store for the 100.
Jasper tried to lead the remaining 100 that were in the mountain, tried to keep them calm, and tried to come up with as many plans as he could to buy them time until Clarke would come back. His faith was restored in her 100%, and somehow he wasn't sure how he ever doubted her gut. But he trusted she was alive, trusted she would be coming back to save them all. Because that was the type of person she was.
Once everything was going down in the Mountain, Jasper's main goal was to somehow find a way for Maya to escape with them. Finding her enough oxygen or another suit. But, he couldn't in time. Clarke and Bellamy with Monty's help had reversed the air system in the mountain. The radiation was everywhere, and the entire group of people were wiped out, Maya included. Jasper wasn't even sure how his friends could do something like this and was completely devastated.
