.:History:. Abby was born on the Ark to a family of rank and powers, and has always lived a life of high expection--for herself and everyone around her. She has always been used to speaking her mind, and her orders to be followed. It was one reason she was able to become both the chief medical officer as well as a council member. Her husband wasn't a man of high power, but he was one she loved dearly.

However, when he discovered the Ark was dying, he wanted to go public with the news, and Abby disagreed. She spoke to a family friend, Jaha, and the situation quickly got out of control--leaving her husband floated, and her daughter arrested. Knowing that they would kill Clarke to protect the secret, Abby put everything she had behind the project that would send the 100 underage kids to the ground, in order to see if it was ready for life.

It was. She would spend the next few months fighting to keep everyone alive--and trying to get to the ground.

The one other member of the council that she buts heads with is Marcus Kane. She is one who thinks rules don't apply to her all the time, and he has always been by the book and toot he letter. She values his skills, and trusts him to be honest, but she also knows that he will not often break rules for anything. After landing on the ground, he entrusted her to lead their people, a power she refused to give back, and has come to rely on him more then she ever thought she would need too.
