.:Physical Appearance:. Lincoln has a tall and strong build. He looks like a typical grounder at first, intimidating and alarming. He grew up training to be a warrior, and as such needed to be in top physical strength. He has no problem with grabbing and lifting someone over his shoulder and walking with them, even if they were trying to escape his grasp. He has tribal tattoos on his body, those he received by being a warrior. Lincoln has a shaved head except for the fauxhawk that runs down the middle of his head. Lincoln is usually dressed in ways to camouflage himself from his enemies. His skin is rather tanned from having dealt with and been exposed to the sun his entire life.

.:Personality:. Lincoln is a caring man, one that doesn't share the same beliefs that his people do. He believes in giving someone the benefit of the doubt, and seeing what kind of person they are. He's a kind old soul, one that had never wanted to be a monster or made into a warrior who kills and has no thought of his own. He wishes for his people to live in peace with the 100 and the Sky people. This is obvious based on the fact that when he was younger, he innocently wanted to help the man who fell from the sky. Linc didn't speak English at the time, and had no way of communicating with the Sky Person, but even as a child he knew that you should try and help someone in need. Even though he was always told and taught to hate the sky people, Lincoln never felt that rage or anger in his heart for them.

Lincoln is not a grounder who appears savage by nature and fueled by anger. He's a smart man, one that is able to read a situation and know when it's the right time to act. This is evident by the fact that he was able to remain cool and calm even as the 100 tortured him. He was resilient and remained silent. He wouldn't give up his people but he wasn't going to try and fight back either.

But Lincoln isn't just someone who is passive and sits back. He cares deeply for people and does not hesitate to do his all to protect them. Octavia is someone he is willing to risk his life for, lay it all on the line, and go against his people.

.:History:. When Lincoln was a boy, a ship with a sky person fell down to Earth. Probably due to some type of suicide mission from the ark. The grounders had their way with dealing with outsiders, or anyone they assumed could be a threat to their clans, but Linc didn't act the way a typical grounder would. He was curious and tried to help the man from the sky. He had given him water and food, but he had no idea how to speak English. Not knowing the language had been a barrier, and young Lincoln had gone to his father to seek help with the man. Instead, he was told that the sky person needed to be killed.

That fact never left Lincoln. As he grew he was trained harshly to be a warrior as all grounders were. He was taught a code by his people, one he was supposed to abide and live by. Instead when another ship from the sky fell to Earth, Lincoln did not act the way a typical grounder should.

He watched them, but not to report back to his people. Instead he kept a journal, learning much about the sky people. When Octavia had wandered off from her camp she had fallen down a hill, injuring herself quite badly. Lincoln had the opportunity like any grounder to leave her or end her. Instead he chose to help her. He sealed her wounds, and proceeded to save her again, this time from his very own people. And in turn also helped the other members of the 100. He made a false warning for the acid fog.

After being captured by the 100, he remained silent. Pretending not to speak a word of English and proceeded to be tortured by them. He had one saving grace, Octavia. She was the one he got him out of that situation. Though by this point he is already considered a traitor by his own people.

After a series of events that keeps him apart from the 100 and Octavia, he eventually gets captured by the mountain men. He was turned into a reaper by being forced drugs in their experimenting area. Clarke's mother, Abby, eventually is able to help Lincoln, and in so creates an alliance with Lincoln's people.
