Her mother died when she was eight, which changed her demeanor from a carefree child to a more quiet, serious one. She worked as a seamstress once she was finished school, but didn't keep the job long when shortly after she got caught for stealing medicine for her father as he began to become ill. She got send down to earth with the rest of the 100.
