.:Personality:. Kane is very pragmatic and cold, willing to do whatever he can to save the human race. He cares little for the individuals, only for the idea of the human race as a whole and it's continued survival.
.:Special Skills:. A skilled negotiator and moral leader, Kane is able to diffuse most situations, even some that seem impossible. Relatively skilled at combat, yet still pales in comparsion to most grounders. In addition to this he dislikes killing so is not very useful when it comes to a fight.
| ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ |
.:Birthplace:.
Alpha Station, the Ark
.:Family:.
Vera Kane (Mother), Unknown Father
.:Occupation:. Councillor (Ark), Chancellor (Earth)
.:History:.Born to Vera Kane in 2107, Kane was brought up to respect authority and instilled with the belief that humanity would one day return to the ground, whilst also not being as enthusiastic about it as the most devout Arkers. Upon reaching adulthood, Kane rose quickly through the ranks of the Guard and Ark society and eventually became a Councillor.
As Councillor, Kane butted heads many times with Abby Griffin, and had no qualms about attempting to have her floated for theft of medicine. Kane supported the 100 plan, but soon became opposed to the idea when it seemed Earth was not survivable. Kane helped initiate the culling with a heavy heart, and upon learning that the culled died for no reason, fell into a depression and questioned who he was and what he stood for. Helping to get his people to Earth after Diana Sydney's rebellion, and showing he was willing to stay behind and die, showed that Kane was changing as a person. This became evermore apparent when he negotiated a truce with Trikru when down on Earth and attempted to negotiate with Cage Wallace and Mount Weather.
Following the events of mount weather, Kane displayed a total change of personality. Kane was a softer person in general, and a skilled statesman, capable of negotiating Skaikru's admittance to the Clan system. Kane also had a different attitude to death and sacrifice, mourning any sacrifice no matter how small, even when Kane knew said sacrifice was necessary for the greater good of his people. Abandoning his authoritative stance, Kane still believed in rules and laws but knew now that they are not always best for survival and strove to be a better man as a whole.
