Raphael had been an annoyance, but now he was dead. Roan sat on the Polis throne as Skairipa herself walked in. Indria had raised such a good little killer. She'd killed Raphael for him and it stopped the brewing war between the clans. He now rules the whole collation. Not wanting everyone to hear that last part, Roan walked down toward her and met her half walk into the room. "You did well," he told her, pleased that the out come had been in his favor. "With Raphael dead, Azgeda has control of Polis and your people are safe." Which was what she got out of this.
He was still healing from the bullet whole, but that didn't meant he was going to let others think him weak. Echo had been right about that when she told him he wouldn't be able to fight a war right now. Politics sometimes demanded other alternatives. One that Skairipa had given him quite nicely.
