Kom woda ‘so gyon op, gon woda ‘so kom daun from water we are born, to water we return W hat had happened tonight had perhaps been Luna's worst nightmare. She had fled the first conclave so that she would not have to kill, swearing to herself that she would never kill again. But . . . circumstance had changed that. Drastically so. She had known what Nia's plan was with her, but had long decided that she would not fight when then day of the Conclave came. She would succumb to her fate, and that would be it. But, the life growing inside of her had changed everything. It had forced her to fight, to kill innocent children.
The way they fought each other at first, horrific enough. She could claim it was self defence but that would be a lie. She had killed other Nightbloods. Children. And would forever mourn their deaths as her hands were now stained with their black blood that would never wash off. She was told that she had tonight to wash up and rest, and tomorrow, she would formally become Heda. She barley heard the words, the trauma of the battle still fresh in her mind. So she just numbly walked to her room, and as if in some sort of trance, not even realizing she had closed the door b ehind her. Not realizing that she had already walked towards a bowl of water. And not realizing that there was someone else in the room, waiting for her.

Roan tell the wolves i'm home Waiting was a for of death. He rather he fight. That this was taken with him doing the killing so he'd know the out come quicker. So if another was meant to be Heda then at least Luna and their child would live. Roan could not even pace the room, as he only stared at the room was the shadows and waited for her to enter. Had he not been banished then he'd be at the door to the throne room waiting. If others saw him then he'd be imprisoned and he would not learn the out come. So instead he waited. When the door opened he stood taller. He did not fear much but waiting to see who entered was perhaps the closest he'd come to shaking.
When Luna entered he bent slightly from the relief before walking over to her. Gently putting his hands on her, Roan pulled his wife from the cold water and looked over her face. His hand moved to her belly and made sure there was no injuries there either. He knew this would cost her. Sliding his hand to her back he pulled her towards the wall and let her sit on the bench there. "Luna," he whispered her name. He needed to hear her voice. To know that the baby and her were unharmed. Then he'd move to get the water he had warming by the fire and he would clean the black blood from her.
