Kom woda ‘so gyon op, gon woda ‘so kom daun from water we are born, to water we return C ommunication had been near to impossible. But fortunately, with the trust the queen had in Echo, and her lacking knowledge of the spy's true loyalties . . . they had been able to work that to their advantage. It resulted in a 'hunting' trip with the two paired and ordered -- mainly Luna -- to bring back a worthy kill. With her not trusting Luna, and rightfully so, she had sent Echo with her to ensure she returned. Fortunately, Echo was going to lend aid to Luna and Roan. They parted ways when nearing the designated meeting place, agreeing to go back at first light. Any later than that, and Nia would grow suspicious. The last thing Luna needed was for a small army to be sent out in search for them.
Once Echo left, Luna waited by the entrance of the cave. She had not seen her husband for some time, and living with the Queen had been far from pleasant. With the unknown before them, there was so much uncertainty. Would the banishment be lifted? What was Nia plotting? How long did Lexa have? Everyone knew that the lifespan of a Heda was often short, their reign short lived due to all the risks and dangers of the position. But for the first time, Luna desired to be in this role of authority if only to lift the banishment of her husband.

Roan tell the wolves i'm home Roan moved swiftly on silent feet through the woods. He pulled the hood down lower over his face, which was covered with a unruly growth. He didn't enjoy the appearance of a vagabond but he needed it to keep his face from being so known. Since he was banished he had taken a new role, been living just out of reach of where he was known and working to stay alive long enough to return to his wife and clan. They were all that mattered now.
Echo had come to him recently. How the hell she knew how to find him he would never know.Together they made this plan, and now he was on the way to see his wife. She'd get there first, and he would follow once he knew none were following her, him, or Echo. Roan was skilled now, more then before, at knowing how to walk unseen and not be followed. The time in his banishment teaching him well.
He stepped out of the trees and slowed as he came into sight of the cave. There waiting for him was the most beautiful sight he'd seen. His wife. What had begun as a plan for power had ended with real love between him and his wife. Neither wanted to be pawns but until Luna came into power this was how things had to be. His steps faltered and he stood there a second just looking at her before his steps began again in a quickened pace that took him to her. His larger hands lifted to her face as he rested his forehead to her's. "Wife," he said in Azegasleng, though the word was the same in all the clan's languages. Since the commander was of Trikru the language was most often referred to it Trigedasasleng.

Kom woda ‘so gyon op, gon woda ‘so kom daun from water we are born, to water we return A s soon as Luna saw him, she felt as if life and breath had been restored in her body. In her very being. Relief that he was alright. Joy to see him again after so long. The overwhelming emotions causing her to pause and stand there numbly until he came over to close the distance.
Though he rested his forehead on hers, she could not help but wrap her arms around his neck and pull him close to hug him, burying her face where it could reach from this angle. She closed her eyes, exhaling in the same relief she felt when she'd first seen him emerge. He smelled different, yet the same. A scent she had missed. The feeling of him a presence she had missed. Drawing back her hands went to either side of his cheek as she locked eyes with him. "Houmon." Husband. The word she responded with before leaning forward to close the distance between their lips.
