Kom woda ‘so gyon op, gon woda ‘so kom daun from water we are born, to water we return L una was not one for politics. She valued family above this political reign. But Nia held no such regard. For the Nightblood not only heard then news that her husband was being exiled . . . but that she was not permitted to go with him. Nia in her intensified bitterness toward then Heda, stated that Luna was integral to her ploy -- as she had always been -- and that she could not leave with Roan. The feelings of imprisonment that had started to wane in the wake of embracing the marriage, were resurfacing. To remain here while he faced the unknown was . . . infuriating. Devastating.
Nia in what she deemed as recompense, allowed them to say goodbye. Roan would leave at first light tomorrow and despite all efforts, Luna knew it would be an impossibility to sneak out with him. Luna was under constant guard, and even when she went to their room, there were guards stationed outside the doors. Luna cast them a disapproving and agitated look before entering her room, and closed it firmly behind her. She then turned her attentions before the now banished prince. "There are guards outside the doors," she stated. She figured he knew that, but said it regardless just so they were both aware.

Roan tell the wolves i'm home Roan was slowly pacing the empty room. His weapons would be given to him at dawn when he left. He hoped Tripon was the one doing them, since they had to last for years. He didn't know how long this would be for but he was assuming that it would be for years. Unless the commander died before then. And unless Luna didn't become the next commander. The thought was sour in his mouth and it made him frown.
Roan was always in control of his reactions. Years of training had taught him to be swift in his reactions, but controlled. Which was why his steps were slow as they took him from one end of the room to the other. One of his arms across his chest with the other resting on it while he mulled over what this would be and what he'd need to do. What he knew he needed to do was find a way to keep communication opened. Not with Azgeda. With her. Luna.
The door opened and he stilled, turning only his head to look at it until he saw Luna enter. She told him that the guards were outside the door but it mattered little at this point. He couldn't escape this. Walking toward her with strong, quicken steps, Roan lifted one hand to bury in her curls at the base of her neck and pull her into his kiss. His other hand coming to span her hip. Pulling back from the quick kiss, Roan left his larger hand on her neck. "They are there for you. Not me." To make sure she didn't leave with him. If he wanted to leave early, or escape; it would be the same as banishment. Nia, however, would not let Luna go. She was worth too much to Nia's plan for Azgeda.
