Kom woda ‘so gyon op, gon woda ‘so kom daun from water we are born, to water we return L una entered the designated training area with her sword in hand. Nia insisted that she stay on top of her combat skills and to be quite honest, Luna welcomed the distraction. It was the only way she knew how to blow off steam, being imprisoned in this place. Not to mention the fact that her fate was already decided for her. She had always known that her future was not of her own choosing. That ever since it was discovered she was a Nightblood, she was committed to the clans. To Polis.
The only glimpse of hope she had of living her own life, had been when she'd run away. But that hope had quickly been snatched from her when she was captured by none other than Azgeda, Which, brought her to this very training ground. To the very person that also stood there. Prince Roan of Azgeda. Oh the stories she had heard about the Azgeda family. And now to think that she lived among them. That then ties would eventually be strengthened through a union that was also decided by Nia. Luna couldn't even hate the Prince. For he too was a pawn in this entire thing.
"I thought it would be empty," she said quietly, not having had planned to spar with him. "Unless your mother sent you out here too." Her tone slightly sarcastic, yet held truth. If there was one thing that she had learned among her first day here -- all that time ago -- is that everyone did as the queen commanded. If they did not, then the consequences were severe and Luna strove to live another day. If she didn't, she would have just let herself fall in the conclave.

Roan tell the wolves i'm home Roan wasn't overly enjoying his mother's latest skem to gain power. He was using to her plotting and scheming. She'd done it since he was born, and over the years he had learned to disenjoy it. She sought power for Azgeda and herself more then honor. She cared not how many of her people died as long as they were seen as stronger, more feared and powerful then the other clans. She'd done it too. The Ice Nation was known for it's power. But ti wasn't enough. She wanted more.
Which was why he was waiting for her. Luna. Mother had insisted that they train together more often, claiming that it would build Luna's loyalty to him, and thus her. She wanted Luna loyal so that when Luna became Heda, Nia would have that power too. A Heda loyal to Azgeda would grant them so much power.
Luna knew damn well that his mother sent him or he wouldn't be here. They both knew this marriage was coming but they'd never spoken about it in a place they could speak freely. "You could use a worthy challenger." Roan was loyal, and wouldn't speak against his Mother too much. Her damn spies were everywhere. "Since you keep defeating the others, you can fight me." Something he normally would relish in, had he not been sent like he was a dog instead of her son.

Kom woda ‘so gyon op, gon woda ‘so kom daun from water we are born, to water we return L una had to constantly remind herself that he was not to blame for this. For any of it. That he too, was most likely doing some of this against his will -- how much, Luna was still learning. But he seemed to be different from his mother. In that, Luna was intrigued by him though she would not admit it.
"I thought you said a worthy challenger," she said with teasing, though her expression lacked humour. For it was a bit of a dig at him. Truth be told, he knew he was a worthy opponent. Perhaps the only other person in all of this nation that could last in even just a sparring match with her. But to stroke his ego in such a way, was not something Luna was going to so swiftly fall into. "Your warriors should be trained better." Another dig; another not so subtle insult. And perhaps, even a tease.

Roan tell the wolves i'm home She made a comment about him not being worthy, and Roan put his hand to his heart and made a face. It didn't really hurt as he was arrogant enough to know he was one of the best. Roan had trained since he could walk on how to be faster and stronger then warriors with years more experience then him. Just as Luna had. "When I am king, I will work on that." He told her though his tone said that he didn't think that it was the lack of training that kept his warriors from not defeating her. The Ice Nation was known and feared through out the 12 clans. You didn't get that level of power without being the strongest.
Pulling his sword from the seethe he whipped it around, to warm his hand up. Letting her grip settled firmly around the handle. It was perfectly balanced in his hand as they had the best weapon makers too. Walking toward her he paused and waited for Luna to get her own weapon of choice. "Tell me little Natblida, when you are queen of Azgeda will you train the warriors harder?" She had ran from the last fight. Why would she not run from the next one?
