Hell, it even helped numb some of the pain from his wound, but that part was certainly getting louder with nothing to ease the pain of it. With the aid of the others, they got him into a tent and in the few moments he was left alone, he attempted to sit up. The timing of it ironic, because it was then that Jackson walked back in. As if anticipating Jackson's question of what he was doing, Miller immediately answered. "We have to go back," he breathed, one hand on his wound, his voice a bit strained. "I'll go alone if I have to," he added on stubbornly. He wouldn't leave the others to die. They were Wonkru. |
