He had been exploring the world ever since he was a child. And he had been keeping records of his explorations for just as long. Lincoln kept detailed descriptions of people met during his travels, of ruins and monuments, hidden caves and treasures from a forgotten time, in journals kept in his cave in the woods. He had also spent a great deal of time mapping out the territory under Trikru control, and when that task was complete, he set out to exploring and marking the clan borders before venturing into Azgeda territory. He didn't do so with malicious intent, not to gather Intel or sensitive information for his clansmen.
No, it was for him and him alone. Lincoln was a free spirit, going where he so desired, looking for beauty in a ravaged world. It was for his pleasure and not the benefit of his brothers-at-arms. He had never seen so much ice and snow before coming here. Or ever been so cold. Lincoln hadn't encountered any trouble so far because he had been keeping to himself, keeping from the villages and living on his own. He had seen farms in his travels, villages, stabled horses, but hadn't taken the time to talk to anyone. Truth be told Lincoln expected hostility from anyone he saw and was hesitant to interact with them.

Arkin jogged through the snow-covered woods of Azgeda; panting a little as he continued to run forward with his wolf-dog named Talon following him closely where ever his human companion wanted to go. He didn't often take the canine with him, as the wolf-dog stayed at the farm, but his father insisted that he take the animal with him for protection and if he wished to hunt. Talon was good as a protector and a hunter, and at least now, he won't have to feel lonely while he wandered around. He stopped when he thought he saw a deer not too far from where he was at and ducked behind a tree as he grabbed Talon by his leather collar. The young boy cautiously eyed past the collection of trees and was able to spot the light-brown furred deer in the snow. He looked on, tugging on Talon's collar to get him to stay quiet when the wolf-hybrid was beginning to become excited about the hunt. "Shh. Talon. Stay." Arkin whispered his command softly as he released his hold on him. He held up his bow and produced an arrow in his free hand after taking it from his quiver, and knocked it in place as he kept an eye on the docile creature not far in front of him. Taking several deep breaths to slow his breathing and heart rate down after the run he had, he fully drew back the bowstring, aimed as he waited to find his placement shot, and fired. When he thought his aim was true, he watched as it became suddenly spooked and ran away. He lowered his weapon and his shoulders slumped in defeat as he pouted a little. He glanced over at Talon, and the wolf-dog was laying down and waiting for his seek or attack command with patience. When the animal noticed him looking down, it started to wag his fluffy tail lightly. It wasn't Talon...he thought and gazed around as he still stayed crouched behind the tree he was partially hiding behind. What scared it? Did it spot me? Spot Talon? Another person? Or a predator? He wondered quietly to himself nervously. Talon sniffed at the air and suddenly stood, ears perked and yellow eyes full of alert. He growled, ever so slightly every now and again. At first, Arkin couldn't see anything, but he trusted his trusty animal companion. He may be starting to get up there in canine years, but he was very loyal and a protector of the small family the young Azgeda was a part of.
