.:History:. Face unmarred to conceal her origins, this chameleon of a woman spent a lifetime learning how to cultivate trust and be inconspicuous. Spying is only one of her many talents. A skilled archer and decent combatant, Echo rose through the ranks as a member of the Royal Guard under the leadership of Queen Nia.

Her banishment from Azgeda severed her from her everything she knew, and by extension, her identity. Humiliated, but unwilling to die, Echo sought clemency from Bellamy, Clarke, Murphy, and Emori, after helping them against attacking Grounders.

To go out into space, estranging her even further of anything she knows [and likely dying a far slower and more painful death amongst strangers], Echo decides to end her life with ‘honour’ [something Roan accuses her of casting aside for power, like his mother]. It is Bellamy who saves her from herself.
