.:Physical Appearance:.  Although Skylar is a bit on the short side, he carries himself with pride and confidence. He has dark, shoulder length hair that is typically half tied back in a braid. Dark brown eyes compliment a brown complexion that retains its beauty despite being marked with several scars. Skylar wears black paint when preparing for war and during ceremony. He typically dresses in worn leather, fur and threadbare cloth.

.:Personality:.  Sky is a conscious ruler with a deep sense of justice and compassion for his people. He tends to give people the benefit of the doubt but once provoked, he can hold a grudge for years. Although he's unable to verbally communicate due to a genetic defect, Sky's thoughts and emotions register plainly across his face and within his body language. He struggles sometimes hourly to keep a calm and cool exterior despite the many frustrations he encounters by not having his own voice. Sky has a soft spot for children and animals and will protect them at all costs.

.:History:.  From the time he was born, Skylar was groomed to be a warrior and a ruler. His stature or lack of voice never deterred him but when his mother and older brother fell ill and passed when he was small, his motivation stalled. Although he continued in his studies and excelled, he had retreated into the safety of his own mind and was merely going through the motions.  So whether it was times of peace or war, Skylar forged on and became well liked among his people but he was often thought of as being unfeeling and lacking empathy. Shortly after he turned twenty, his father also fell ill and the leadership of the clan was quickly thrust upon him. Despite his ability to lead, his clan was restless and worried Skylar had suffered too much and was unable to understand the worries and fears of the people. It was when his father decided on Sky's Second that his life began to change for the better. A formidable bond was easily forged while contentment and happiness crept back into Skylar's life despite romance being forbidden.  Even so, Skylar leads with a strong heart and with his Second as his voice and support.
