.:Name:. Neither names he goes by are his true names; his birth name is unknown. When re-entering society, he was called Tripion (tripi meaning strange, on meaning one). Eventually, as his skills became more known and popular, others began to call him Shudamin (shuda meaning weapon, amin meaning master) .:Nick Name:. The two names above are technically his nicknames. .:Affiliation:. Azgeda; incredibly loyal to his clan. .:Age:. 30s.

.:Physical Appearance:. Tripion has a tall, lanky, thin build. His hair is light brown and often disheveled. He has a small moustache and beard that he sometimes keeps tied up. Perhaps his most prominent feature -- apart from his height -- is his eyes. They are often outlined with black and streaks coming down onto his cheeks. He dresses in neutral and comfortable clothing and when wandering around, carries his weapons of choice: an axe and a dagger. .:Height:. 6"4' .:Portrayed by:. Gustaf Skarsgård

.:Personality:. Tripion is one of a very unique mind. It sometimes is compared to that of a child, or completely misunderstood. His mannerisms and mindsets deviate from the social norm among the Grounder community (i.e talking to himself, referring to himself in third person, hallucinating, etc). He has moments where his voice has a slightly high pitch tone to it, vastly different from how one would assume he would speak. He has no concept of personal space, and often puts his hands on others, whether its touching their hair or cheek. Had it not been for his masterful skill in weaponry, he most likely would have been ostracized and banished. He is well known throughout Azgeda as a blacksmith, providing the best weapons of the highest quality for the warriors.
He is very proud of his work, and can be quite eccentric, jovial, and zealous. He is prone to sudden abrupt shifts in his moods however. He has his own unique sense of humor that only some -- if any -- may understand, and his ways of doing things is incredibly different which is not always accepted. He is unpredictable in his actions and thoughts, and can be quite cryptic in his speech. He is actually intelligent, though it is more reflected in his work rather than verbal communication. This trait is not always associated to him however, due to his mannerisms.
Not every ones gives the chance to get to know him. Those that do, he is very loyal to, which is one describing word that quite accurately fits him. For if there is one thing that he is, it is incredibly loyal especially to Azgeda, inclusive of the royal family. He despises Skaikru, finding them an abomination. He is very, VERY spiritual in Grounder beliefs and travels to Polis when he can, even providing weapons for the armies there at times. .:Special Skills:. Tripion is considered perhaps the best blacksmith in all of Azgeda, and well reputable among others. His is not modest nor is he arrogant in his skills. He is proud of his work, but does not boast about what he can do. He shows skills in crafstmanship and can manufacture any weapon, inclusive of unique designs. He also has an excellent memory and while he may not hold grudges, he certainly does not forget things. He sees things differently from others which is both a weakness and a strength. Despite his creation and exposure to weapons, he is mainly skilled with an axe and dagger.
| ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ |
.:Birthplace:. Somewhere in Azgeda .:Family:. Unknown .:Occupation:. Blacksmith / Craftsman .:History:. Not much is known about Tripion's past. He does not talk about it either. Despite his excellent memory, even he can only recall so much. He was abandoned at a young age as it had been clear early on that he was not like the others. He did not have a physical deformity, but his mental state was not that which was considered "normal". So his parents left him in the woods, to succumb to the natural elements. Quite the opposite occurred however. He was found by a warrior and decided to take him to be trained as one. Not knowing his true name, he was given the one "Tripion" which means "Strange One". Enlisted to be in the Azgeda army, Tripion began to train among the others but once again, it was quite clear that he was not like the others.
His skills in combat were lacking and he did not share the mind of a typical warrior. He was often found in solitude, tampering with the weapons. It was realized that he made them stronger, more sturdy, adjusting them to better fit the warrior. Upon this realization, he was tasked with aiding in the manufacturing of swords, shields, spears and other weaponry. He became the blacksmith's apprentice. His name eventually went from "Tripion" to "Shudamin" which means "weapon master". When the blacksmith was dismissed of his position, Shudamin fully took over, though not taking an apprentice of his own. No one could quite understand the workings of his mind. He became well known, and close to the royal family and army. He began to gain respect -- somewhat -- among their people . . . even though others are still not quite sure how to react to him.
