.:Physical Appearance:. Myka is fairly small for her age, not that this bothers her. That paired with her childish features has helped her escape some tricky situations before. It also means she is light on her feet. Taking after her father, she has messy brown hair which she keeps short for practicality. She also has large brown eyes and a small rounded face, which her father keeps telling her she'll grow out of but she couldn't care less. The way she looks holds no importance to her. Since leaving their clan, Myka no longer has the luxuries she once had. Being clean is rare and finding food for two hasn't been easy. She's scrawny, taking on the figure which is easily mistaken for a small boys, and her face is often smudged with dirt.

.:Personality:. Myka is one incredibly tough cookie for her size. If something knocks her down she gets right back up again. She is fierce when she needs to be and yet, through her fathers teachings, knows when she shouldn't be. She knows there is a time and place. In this new world she has a lot to learn, which she is more than willing to do, but due to her age and her lack of contact with others she is still very naive towards what dangers she may have to face each day. Towards those she is familiar with, her loyalty never wavers. Her family were the most important thing to her; the only ones she could rely on. She is a curious young lady; constantly questioning the world around her. As well as her words, she is also rather quick with a knife. Her father taught her how to fight as soon as she was old enough to know how to correctly hold the handle on a blade. Don't underestimate her; her small size means nothing.

.:Family:. Myka travels with her father who is a merchant. He scavenges for goods and sells them for a worthy price. Her mother was killed in the experiments a little over 2 years ago.

.:History:. Myka once had a family who cared for her. They worked hard to keep their place in the clan. Her ignorance to the dangers outside the safety of their home was deemed a passing phase. It was something they thought would pass as she aged. At the age of 11 she ventured a little further than usual by her mothers side. They were hunting for food. What was meant to be a bonding experience soon took a dramatic turn as her mother was kidnapped. Myka watched from behind tree as her mother was dragged away. There was nothing she could do but run back and tell her father. They (her father and a few other men from the clan) searched all night for her but she was never seen again. Myka later found out that the men who took her mother were called 'Reapers'. They were normal grounders like herself only their minds had been severely warped by a drug. The drug was given to them by the mountain men. 

Finding it hard to settle into a normal life and struggling to find trust in the people they lived among, four months later Myka's father took her away from the clan she had always called her family. He believed if they stayed they'd both meet the same fate. Late at night, he packed a small satchel and fled, his daughter sleeping in his arms. When she woke, the news that they were now miles away from home took her by surprise. At first she was angry but that anger soon began to ebb away. In her eyes, this was a whole new adventure. It was a time to learn and a time to mature. So that she did.
