In a library, shelf space is life. More space means more genre popularity, and more genre popularity means a higher chance that your book will be read. Without readership, a book dies, and all its characters die with it. Your book. Your character. To prevent this, the seven main fiction genres created their own gangs. - Anecdotes [General fiction]
- Detectives [Mystery]
- Fantoms [Fantasy]
- Profs [Sci-Fi]
- Sketches [Comics, Web comics]
- Terrors [Horror]
- Thrills & Chills [Thriller, Mystery]
Using whatever means they deem fit, they recruit members, protect their territories, sabotage the other gangs' efforts, and attack their enemy genres. Alliances formed. Sub-groups appeared. Each group has their own agenda, but ultimately they all want the same thing: Shelf Space.
