.:Physical Appearance:. She's never been much in the height department, being rather short in that aspect for as long as she's been a teen. Her mama had once said she'd get some height, but that never did happen and when she did finally get whatever growth she was going to get, it happened to give her an inch, some lumps on her chest and a slightly curvier waist line then that of her mother and her mother before hers. Jay you see, took after her father in height, her mother in body form and her great-grandmother in hair colouring. She has sun-kissed orange hair, that flatters her baby blue eyes that sparkle with an innocence she has long since lost when she got put into prison.

.:Personality:. Sierra, or Jay as she likes to be called instead; has always been a bit of a complex individual. She was born into a well off family who had some say in some areas at the beginning of the Arks day. This was an early set up to her being a bit of a snob; or at least, having the bare makings of it. She doesn't display the snobbish remarks as often as one would expect; oh no; if someone gets her to gossip she will let out a tale you would not believe. No in fact, Jay has a rather soft heart and is often found trying to comfort those who need it; especially when it comes to emotionally (and sure she may gossip it about it later; but she tries her hardest not to). However, it is her quite to fix; serious attitude that she can turn on in an instance if she needs to. Having been training under the doctors on the Ark for most of her teen years, she prides herself in the knowledge she does have on anything medical related.  Many would also say she is a bit of a rebellious one, who while quiet and soft-spoken, will quietly defy anyone should their believes cross her own - even if it means she's the bad guy.

.:History:. Sierra MacKay and Michael MacKay both met in their student years; became sweethearts and later married to have their one and only child - Sierra Jay-Lenna MacKay the second. The two had been tough parents, installing in their daughter the prime importance of medicine and healing as Michael was in himself, a nurse. Growing up; and as a five year old; Sierra the younger took to being called Jay instead; loving her new name as it made her feel special and wonderful all rolled into one. She was sixth when she started learning tools and things from her father's notes on clients. She was eight when she asked to see what the hospital wing of the Ark looked like; and by the time she was able to start shadowing people in the Medical Wing she was already long on her way to a successful life. But where she excelled in the areas of Herbal Knowledge and Medical knowledge, she lacked the drive to actually complete the task. Growing up, her neighbours - the Gravenhursts - had a boy who was a year her senior. He was a handsome boy, and whisked the young fifteen year old off her feet. Jay's attitude switched that day, from a sweet, innocent "i can learn so much!", to the rebellious fighter she is today.

This boy - we will call him STEVE - knew his actions and intentions were wrong and he used his little girlfriend to get him stuff to get high. Or at least for the first year of their relationship they did. He eventually began to realize she wouldn't do it and when she was sixteen, and he seventeen, he threaten to break up with her... and sweet Jay was already to much in love to say no. She was sixteen when she stole medicine for her boyfriend... and she was sixteen when she got arrested for being a thief. She tried to reason with the enforcers, but they had simply taken her away. STEVE was still off his rocker from the stuff she had given him, but he visited her once when she was in lock down - to break up with her for her good. He was going to clean up his act first - then get her out of there. Of course she was angry, of course she tried to throw a few punches and when she was taken to confinement to calm down she was't aware of the movement running. She was sent - along with 99 other delinquents, to earth to see if it was liveable. She had never gotten to say goodbye to her parents, but her last thought as they loaded her, was that she sad to never apologize for her behaviour to her ex. Now; on the earth, she's struggling to survive in a world so cold.
