Notes: First Ilian post! | Ilian had lost yet another companion. First Raphael, and now, his partner in the rebellion against tech was gone. Dead. Ilian had decided that it was time to go straight to the source. Skaikru could not be doing this. It was bad enough that Roan had appointed himself as a makeshift Commander, but he also allied himself against the very people that had brought this all upon them. It was time to go straight to the source: straight to Arkadia.
Rumors of it having reached Ilian's ears since they fell from the sky. He had been curious, but never enough to actually go there. This time however, it was not curiosity that set him upon this path. But the need to avenge his family. His mother's dying words forever etched into his mind. He would avenge her. He would destroy all tech that remained in Skaikru headquarters.
He was on his way outside the city, when a familiar face caught his eye. The woman who had been with Octavia when he had destroyed the flame. Did that make them allies? How interesting. Ilian knew who was responsible for both his friend's deaths. Which was part of the reason he had approached the woman to begin with. "Where's your Skaikru companinion?" He asked sarcstically, clear distaste on his face. Destroying the chip had brought some comfort. But Ilian wanted to do more damage than that.

Octavia had tried to kill Gaia before Indra revealed her identity. Of course, in the end, it had been Octavia that had come up with the plan to make those seeking to destroy the Flame believe it was destroyed. She had to be thankful for that, at least. And she supposed she was happy for her mother. Octavia seemed smart and fought with the sort of blood lust her mother always wanted in a daughter. Even if it still stung that her mother so fundamentally misunderstood her, she had what she wanted now.
And Gaia had no time to dwell. She needed to get out of Polis. The Flame was safe for now, but she would not take chances. It was a voice that stopped her, and she turned to see the man who thought he'd destroyed the Flame. "She's not my companion," she replied, her eyes narrowing on him. "Even if she was, why would I tell you?" The man who destroyed all she sought to protect. Or so he believed. "Do you even realize what you've done?" she said. She was not without sympathy for those who had been chipped. The man seemed to not wish any harm to others, at least not directly. But Gaia had to play her part.Tag: @ilian
