After the revelation of the list Alex pulled away from everyone. It wasn't even that he wasn't on the list. It was something else that made him feel like he had just gotten a punch to the gut. It was the fact that he stood there, listening to the list, listening to who was on it and who not and ultimately why he wasn't on it - probably as he had no chance to talk to Clarke yet. It was the thing that he was sick. His time was limited. He knew that. Being locked in Arkadia, it would seal his fate. The only reason why he was no deteriorating faster was because of the air here. It was so much better than processed air with multiple unnatural germs in it.
He made his way to his rooms, his and Fayes. He knew this would have an impact on her, too and sure enough he could not look at her as she entered the room. "I'm telling them to give my chance to be in Arkadia to you. Clarke was right to leave me of the list. With only 100 places left your survival is much more important than mine." It was what he could do, what he might have to do.
