Archer is the silent type who usually dwells in the shadows. He is set in his ways, stubborn til' the end. He's the type who tries his best to be good and is very selfless. He's sort of what the people of the Ark call Robin Hood. Though he comes off as a traitor to the Grounders for stealing their wealth, he does it to give to the poor.

Archer was born in Tondc to Mila, a beggar. His father was a well known warrior who took advantage of her. She ended up bearing him a child; Archer. He was given the name by his mother due to the fact he has a birthmark on his shoulder in the shape of an arrow. The boy grew up on the streets with his mother. He hated seeing his mother beg for coin, so he decided to take it upon himself to steal it. He became very good at it, until one day he got caught stealing from his father, Hamilton. His father knew who he was and laughed, saying, "You must be my boy!" He ended up being fond of him and taught him how to use weapons and fight. He trained him until he became an adult. At that time, his mother had become ill. After she passed, Archer became a well known thief. He would steal from the wealthier of the Grounders and give to the poor. He was take jobs and kill other people, but only if they are bad people. To this day, he lives on his own, never settling in one place. Archer is in search of a group to aid him in theft and murder.
