And her muscles are toned from years of training. While she may seem playful off the battlefield, there is a confidence in her step that warns not to cross her.

.:Personality:. Cara is a warrior born and bred. She’s a brave and reliable soldier who doesn’t flinch. She would gladly fight to the death to protect what she loves, although she would certainly prefer if it didn’t come to that. Loyalty is everything to Cara. She tends to keep a cool distance from strangers, at least at first. But once her trust is earned, she will do anything for those who hold it. She provides her friends with a solid rock in times of turmoil and can actually be quite gentle towards them, although she won’t hesitate to kick them in the ass if necessary. A knack for keeping a level head helps her give solid advice when asked. But she was trained to follow orders, not ask questions. And while she is capable of taking the lead when truly necessary, she would far prefer to leave that task to others.

With that said, Cara isn’t all about battle. Her father loved her dearly, and that love left its mark. She knows man can’t live by bloodshed alone. With that in mind, she can often be found teasing her comrades in arms or instigating competitions to help keep morale high. She’s highly competitive with a habit of turning simple things into contests. She also has quite the sense of humor, even if it’s sometimes at her own expense. And while she can’t keep watch on the whole army, she does try to keep a subtle eye out for her friends, whether it be offering to take watch when they’re clearly exhausted or sitting beside them after a hard day to remind them they aren’t alone. In particular she tries to keep an eye on Vero. Someone has to look out for him while he’s busy looking out for the emperor. Cara sees it as her chance to finally pay back his kindness in their childhood.

.:Special Skills:. Cara is a highly trained warrior who knows her way around most any weapon. She prefers the sword, but her sharp eyes were definitely made for a bow. She’s also a decent strategist. Not an expert but enough to alter a plan on the fly as a battle demands.

.:History:. Cara’s mother died in childbirth, leaving her to be raised by her warrior father. While he loved his daughter, war was all he knew. So he raised her to be a warrior. When he wasn’t off fighting, he spent much of his time in the city helping train young warriors. He took Cara with him from an early age so she could watch. Many of those children would grow to be her comrades in arms, although she didn’t know that at the time. In those days she just loved being near her father.

There was one boy in particular her father seemed to take an interest in. His name was Vero. Cara’s father helped with the training however he was asked to, but he always made time to give Vero a little extra instruction and veiled encouragement. He saw something in the boy, something Cara wouldn’t understand until much later. She was only eight years old when her father failed to return from battle. It was Vero, her father’s favorite and a fellow orphan, who reached out to Cara. His friendship provided her an anchor in the storm. He kept an eye on her and even helped to train the younger girl into the warrior she would eventually become.

By the time she reached adulthood, Cara was a fierce fighter. She was as shocked as everyone else to learn one of the young men she had trained with was the new emperor of their clan. But she had seen Kiawah in battle and knew him to be honorable. Besides, Vero trusted him, and Cara trusted Vero. That was all she needed to know. When Vero was named the Emperor’s general, Cara tried to stick close to her old friend. He would need people he trusted. Especially after his brother was taken. Now with the commander dead and Yujleda’s ambassador sent back to them blind, the situation in the clan is more tense than ever. Whatever comes next, Cara is ready to fight to protect the people she loves.
