.:Physical Appearance:. Alek stands tall at six feet. He has the body of a warrior, with an athletic build. He is clad in the attire traditional to his people, and wearst he make up of a warrior when the time calls for it. He has dark hair, and a slightly darker shade to his skin. His hair wa initially grown out on one side and shaved on the other; however following the death of his family members, he cut his hair as a form of mourning.

.:Personality:. First and foremost, Alek is a warrior. With this comes required qualities: loyalty to his chief [Indra] and ultimately, the commander [Lexa], discipline, courage, etc. When the time calls for it, he can set aside his emotions quite easily and do what is expected of him. Among his own people, family, and friends, he is a bit more relaxed. He has a good sense of humor, willing to offer up a joke every now and then. He enjoys provoking others, all in good fun of course, especially the more serious appearing Grounders. He tends to talk quite a bit, even if its just for the sake of playfully annoying a friend at times. He is the oldest of 5 siblings, and the age difference between him and the next oldest is significant. He cares for his family, and enjoys his roles in the Grounder society: a brother, a son, a second, and a warrior.
.:Special Skills:. He has the training of other warriors, more so as he is one of Indra's seconds. Therefore, he is skilled in combat, and with weapons such as a bow and arrow, dagger, and sword.

.:History:. Alek was born in a quaint little family in avillage far from Tondc. He would be the first of five children to his parents, and the family was quite close. They had a humble lifestyle, and a fairly happy upbringings. Alek had always taken an interest in being a warrior, admiring the others who fought to serve the commander. He moved to Tondc, and was raised by his grandparents who resided there. As soon as his age permitted him to, he commenced training. He moved up in the ranks and eventually became Indra's second. He serves her with the utmost loyalty, having immense respect for the woman. However eventually, things took a drastic turn for the worse . . . it all started with the Sky People.

The first tragedy that struck was the death of his grandmother. She was in the village when Finn opened fired at the village and was one of the victims to this massacre. As soon as Alek found out, he wanted justice for his family. It was not only his grandmother that was killed, but close friends as well, and the Grounder was livid . . . just like the rest. There was hardly time to mourn for his grandmother, for they were at war. Much to his displeasure, an alliance was struck between the Grounders and Arkers, yet as an obedient warrior, he voiced no objection. He just wasn't overly fond of the Sky People.

The second tragedy would be one far worse than the first. His grandfather and brother were in Tondc at the time the missile struck . . . and both of them were killed. It was then that Alek felt the heavy lost of those members in his family in such a short amount of time. He drew strength from the vengeance that he would get when they raided Mount Weather, however this too was taken from him when Lexa told their people to turn back. Again, he could not voice his objection but he was disappointed, frustrated, and unsettled. For he no longer had an outlet for all the built up rage and pain within him.

Due to that, he formed a group of other Grounders who felt the same way as him and began to rebel against Lexa, believing they were staying true to their culture: blood must have blood, and that was exactly what they wanted.
