So basically what I have for Killian is that he had a childhood friend who was privileged and eventually worked as a nurse! They ended up getting married but realized that they were better friends than lovers, so divorced! She gave birth to a daughter who they raised together! He and his former wife are on excellent terms, still good friends and there is zero tension between them! However, everything changed when they arrived on the ground! Their daughter was one of the first victims among the other children who were killed by Azgeda. This death caused a HUGE rift between Killian and the mother of their child. They both blamed each other and their relationship is now strained as they grieve the loss of their child.
I think it would be SUPER fun to play out this dynamic! From having threads where they are growing up together, getting married / or are married, to ones on the ground!
