.:Physical Appearance:. The most notable feature of Zoran's appearance is the birth deformity on his face. The deformity stretches over the lower half of his face, although the main deformity is across his his mouth and left cheek. Other than this, Zoran has brown hair, mostly in a short almost-shaved style with a long section of hair at the centre of his head, which features a slight curl. He also has brown eyes. Zoran is almost always wearing clothing that protects him from the sandy desert of the Dead Zone, and covers his deformity whenever he goes outside for the sake of his safety.

.:Personality:. Zoran is a curious kid, having grown up in a very isolated way with no one else constant in his life apart from his parents. This life left him always curious about other people when he comes across them and about the different sorts of items he finds when scavenging. While he has had bad experiences that have come from strangers not accepting him, Zoran still holds an open mind and tends to have a naive view of seeing the best in people.

From the love and care that his parents have shown to him, especially the fact that they have gone out of their way to protect him, Zoran has gained a caring heart. He doesn't like to see others in pain or in any sort of bad situation and will always try and help someone when he can. This doesn't mean he has a completely soft heart, having seen many people dead throughout his travels in the dead zone and learning when the right time is to just take their stuff and leave their body be. Growing older has only made this easier, becoming more able to separate his emotions in those sorts of situations, although he never enjoys finding those who are dead.

He is also a very hopeful person. He holds a belief that his family will find the City of Light, that they might be able to live a happy life with others. He holds hope that he will someday have real friends. Saying that, the older that Zoran grows, the more he finds himself beginning to doubt whether his future will actually be any different from his past.

.:History:. Zoran was born in Sankru, a child who should not have lived. The deformity on his face giving his parents the choice of either leaving him to die or leaving their people so he could live, although the first of those choices was the ones that his parents were expected to make. Going against the customs of their people, his parents decided to keep Zoran, loving him because he is their son and deciding that he should not have to die. So they left Sankru when he was born and Zoran grew up in the life of a nomad. 

A lot of Zoran's life was spent in the dead zone, a seemingly never-ending desert where nothing much happened. Yet, at the same time, so much happened. Many nomads live in the dead zone, often living a less than truthful life and doing all they could to survive. Yet as much as they lived like this, Zoran was still put in danger by people who didn't know him. As a toddler Zoran, face uncovered, ran into a stranger in the desert, finding himself in the arms of someone with hatred and only being saved by the quick actions of his parents. This experience is what led to Zoran having to get his face -- although specifically his deformity -- covered. 

From when Zoran was old enough to walk, he helped his parents in scavenging the dead zone, using a cart to collect anything that could be sold or traded for supplies. Because Zoran began this from such a young age, he picked up the skill young and grew to be able to complete this chore on his own. Through this he ended up finding Jaha half-dead in the middle of the dead zone and decided to take him back to his home.
