.:Personality:. Artemis is a serious but relaxed leader of his people. He believes in honor, but not at the price of lives. His people have a hard life int he sand, so they value life over land. Water is worth more then most anything, and it's one of the few things he would fight over. He and his people do not fear outsiders--because most do not know how to survive in their lands.

.:History:. Artemis was raised to be one of his people's water hunters, and he spent his early years learning to fight and find the underground rivers. His people make their homes in the hollowed out steal structures of the people who had lived here many years ago, but often have to move with the water. While not nomadic, as they stay in a general area, their cities move often to be closer to water sources. They are used to hunting the animals of the sands, and the ones that live in the waters near by.

He became the leader of his people at a young age, when the old leader became crazed by the sun, and turned on his people. It was Artemis who fought to protect the others, and because of this became a trusted council of the next chief. Over the years he would be council and friend to the man, until his peaceful death when Artemis took over.
