Leah closed her eyes and braced as she was thrown around in her seat during the landing process. She braced herself as the landing ended and she breathed a sigh of relief as the buckle on her seat was released. She jumped out of her seat and raced down to the bottom where the hatch would be opened. She struggled to make it through the rest of the 100 that were sent down here. She wondered for a split second whether her parents were worried, but then she pushed the thought away. It was too hard to think about her parents now, not when they had been floated away like so many others.
She stopped as a man a little older than her told everyone to be quiet. He was tall, had black hair and had a loud enough voice to get everyone's attention. Leah felt the need to slip away for a second, and did so by starting to climb the ladder back up to get her bag and canteen. As she climbed back up she noticed the increasing sound of voices, she guessed that the man had opened the door, and someone had stepped out onto the new life/

whatever THE HELL WE WANT They had made it. Earth. Bellamy's reason for being here was Octavia. Seeing her again had made his heart swell with so many emotions. He missed her this past year, and had feared the worst. He'd been terrified she would be floated but now . . . that fear could be put to rest. They were here. Together. Along with 99 -- now 98 perhaps -- other delinquents. When the door was opened, Octavia was the first to step out and after her charming little statement, the rest hurried out. To step on the ground felt . . . amazing. To inhale the air, to see the greenery around them. It all felt so surreal.
Bellamy stepped out with the rest of them. But he was not becoming overly engaged with his surroundings. Well, not in the same way other people were. He didn't touch the trees or flowers or the ground. No. His mind was working. He knew he couldn't stay here for long, not with what he had done. The Ark would join them soon enough, and he couldn't be here when they did.
Hell, if he could find a way to prevent them from coming down, that would be even better. He needed to step up, to take a role. But for now, everyone was moving and exploring. Which was perfect. Here were a group of teenagers, locked up and now thrown into an environment with essentially no rules, no limitations, no boundaries. Bellamy could quite easily use this to his advantage. So while the others looked about, not straying too far, he just casually took a few steps forward, eying the drop ship, and determining what his first move would be with this fresh start.
Perhaps it would be best to get their only shelter in order. He turned around, going back into the drop ship and made his way to one of the corpses. A casuality of the crash . . . all because he didn't properly secure himself as they landed. He better remove the bodies before they started stinking up the place. With that, Bellamy effortlessly lifted the body of the male and put him over his shoulder, as he walked back to the exit and entrance of the drop ship to take out the deceased.

Leah had stayed towards the back when the guy that she'd seen earlier walked in to get the corpse. She watched in horror as he effortlessly lift the two, one of which had been next to her during the flight. She picked up her sack quietly before swinging it over her shoulder and walking over to the other dead male. It hurt that two of the small 100 were already dead, she hated it. Ever since her parents had died, she'd been fearful that she'd soon join them. But she was here, where she could be free. Something inside her wondered for how long they'd even be free. After all, once the Ark found out the air was breathable, wouldn't they come down here?Remembering that she was still crouched over the corpse, she lifted the boy. He wasn't much older than herself, if he was even older. She heaved him down to where the hatch was, and dragged him out. She dropped him near where the man was digging a small grave for the first boy. Leah decided she'd take her risks and talk to him. "I'm Leah," she said picking up a small shovel and scraping some of the earth up. She wondered if she'd spoken loud enough, but it didn't matter, what did was that she'd spoken.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT While Bellamy didn't exactly exude compassion, he was digging this grave for pure logical purposes rather than sentiment. They could either burn the body or bury it. Burning it would draw too much attention and the others seemed to be enjoying their new found freedom. If he was to gain some authority here, he wasn't going to be the one to put a damper on that.
So instead, he just quietly dug a grave before the corpse started stinking up the camp. His eyes would occasionally search the crowd for Octavia, making sure she was near and safe. As he dug the grave he heard someone approach, though he didn't bother looking at the delinquent until she spoke. He glanced at her, quickly taking in her petite side and the fact that she had dragged the other body here. Leah she introduced herself as, but Bellamy didn't return the courtesy. Besides, his name was already announced in the drop ship. Not that he expected everyone to remember it. not yet anyway.
"Well then, Leah, keep digging," he bluntly stated. He wasn't here to be nice to others. He was here for his sister, and was all too aware that his presence was only temporary. Once the Ark came down, they would kill him for his crime. While he wasn't one who needed to speak unless it was relevant . . . well, perhaps his next inquiry was just that. "Why aren't you with the others frolicking around and touching trees?" He asked somewhat sarcastically. She looked young enough, so he found it a little interesting that she preferred to dig up a grave than enjoy their surroundings.

"I don't frolick around, thank you very much." Leah said loudly. She remembered that he probably wasn't a guard, since he didn't act like one. He seemed to keep glancing at a girl nearby, Octavia Blake. Everyone knew Octavia here, she was quite frankly almost a legend. She would've been killed at a younger age if her brother, Bellamy, hadn't hidden her for so long. Suddenly she realized just who she was talking to, it was Bellamy Blake. She felt the strong urge to run and find a new spot, but she kept digging. "You're Bellamy Blake, aren't you?" she asked glancing at him from the corner of her eyes. She felt a strong sense of pain when she saw her hole had grown big enough for the body to be put in. She held back tears as she placed the boy into the grave. At least he's being buried properly, she told herself. Now, even more than ever, she realized how lonely she had become in confinement. She had no parents wishing she was alive. She was alone, now even more than ever. Bellamy Blake

whatever THE HELL WE WANT The girl stated that she didn't frolic and after a few moments of silence, asked for confirmation that he was Bellamy Blake. He knew his sister was well known on the Ark as being a sibling that had managed to get away with it for fifteen years. Had it not been for his recklessness, she would have remained safe. As would his mother have. But he withheld any such emotions from surfacing. Now was not the time to lament. It was time to move forward, and build a life here with Octavia. They had survived the first test of radiation . . . but he doubted that was the last concern they would have.
"No, I'm Wells Jaha," he sarcastically retorted. He was just being a smart ass, since most everyone knew who Wells was. And well, obviously Bellamy's skin color was a bit off to be the son of the Chancellor. Once he finished digging, he tossed the body into the hole, noticing her stare intently at the grave she had dug herself, placing the other body in it. "It's not gonna come alive like the zombies in horror books," he said teasingly . . . perhaps mockingly. She was clearly deep in thought about something, but he didn't care enough to ask. "Just cover it up, and you're done," he added on as he proceeded to cover the grave with dirt once the deceased was placed in.

Why was Bellamy such a smart ass? Leah didn't care or notice any of his smart retorts, he was a boy, all boys were immature asses, no matter what age. "Sure, and I'm just some random girl that wasn't in jail sent down to Earth." she joked back scooping dirt back onto the grave after placing the boy in his final resting place. She felt bad that he hadn't gotten to see the new world he would've and could've lived in if he'd survived. She suddenly realized that she was once again in one of her deep thoughts, and she snapped out of it. Leah finished burying the boy and picked a few pink and white flowers to lay at their grave. She carefully placed them on the two graves. These boys were criminals, they all were. But Leah couldn't quite pick up on what Bellamy had done to get himself down here. He was still in the guards uniform, giving hint that he might've stolen it. But still, that wasn't enough to get thrown in jail for, was it? Leah had never really paid attention to the strict rules on the Ark, she had no need to. She'd hated the rules ever since the beginning. They meant nothing to her. The only she really had to care about were the "No attacking officials" rules, since she would've been on trial for them had she not been sent down to this place. Suddenly Leah realized just how beautiful Earth was. The clean air, she hadn't even noticed that. The trees, grass, and the sky. Leah had never seen such a beautiful place in her life, not even in her dreams. Bellamy Blake

whatever THE HELL WE WANT She retorted with a comment about her being some random girl, who was not imprisoned. Bellamy wasn't oblivious to sarcasm, but nor did he plan to engage in a full conversation with it . . . despite the fact that he himself was sarcastic. "You're half right about that," he stated bluntly, the same tone carrying to his next words. "You are some random girl." To him anyway. Hell, most of them were random. They were a bunch of juvenile delinquents; misfits. All sent down to Earth to die basically. If the radiation wasn't going to kill them -- which is clearly didn't -- then the lack of supplies sure as hell would. Either way, The Ark had sent them to their deaths, and Bellamy was going to use that to rally the masses.
As if they were actually going to be pardoned for their crimes. He knew that he most certainly would not be. No one shot the Chancellor and got away with it. Besides, he wasn't part of the original 100. The fact that the rule most likely wouldn't apply to him and the severity of the crime, made Bellamy certain that he would be punished by death for what he did. As his mind went over what his next move was going to be, he finished covering the body with dirt, noticing the girl put flowers on it as if to pretty it up. Bellamy then went over to get a few rocks and placed them at the head of each grave. Not for sentiment of course. No. He was not that kind of guy; he refused to be. Especially now.

Leah watched as Bellamy place two rocks at the head of the grave, but he did nothing about it. "What are those for?" she asked quietly. She glanced up at the sky again. The clouds, the canopy of leaves, they were all so beautiful. Leah didn't understand much, but she knew that being here was a punishment. They were dead already to the Ark, and she didn't care what she had to do, as long as she survived. The Ark had said that they would be pardoned, but once they got down to Earth, if they did, then they wouldn't be free anymore.
"And, I am just some random girl to you, but you're some random boy I met burying corpse," Leah said smiling her small smile. She looked back at the ground, she felt small in this world, like nothing could happen. She wasn't sure of whether to be glad of her freedom, or worried. Now that there were no rules, surely some of these criminals would start acting up. Suddenly a tear dropped off her face. Crap, she'd forgotten to hide her feelings again. She glanced at the boy and started walking away back towards the dropship to set up her area to sleep. She needed to get away, to escape once more.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy listened to the girl ask what the stones were for. "To mark the graves," he responded nonchalantly. Soon enough, grass and other things may start to grow over the dirt. This way, they would be found, as it seemed they had already found their graveyard. Bellamy wouldn't admit that it was sentiment. That deep down, there was an odd compulsion to properly bury these two dead delinquents. He could never admit anything of the sort. Displaying such emotion was a weakness and right now, he needed to be confident, sure, and well . . . a bit of an ass if that was what it took.
He needed to lead these people without them knowing it. Giving them a sense of freedom though still placing himself in charge. Only then, could he do what he needed to: protect Octavia, and protect himself. He briefly glanced at the girl as she made a remark about how she a random girl, and he a random boy. He was hardly a boy, but he didn't respond as she proceeded to walk away. He didn't know where she was going, nor did he have any interest in following. Instead, he gave one final look at the two graves. He imagined this would just be the beginning. And with that, he turned to walk away, and go to where Octavia was.

Leah prepared her spot in the dropship for the night. When she was done she opened a small hatch in the dropship and watched the other people outside. They were acting weird, all of them. They really thought they were free? Leah smiled and went back to her bag to get a flashlight and some of her small tools. She'd been trained in engineering back on the Ark. In fact, if she hadn't gotten into trouble, she'd probably still be on the Ark. Leah looked down at her stuff, and realized how little she'd actually had back on the Ark. She put the stuff she'd need and started for the exit of the dropship. Leah stepped out into the camp and looked around. She saw Bellamy talking to his sister. Good, that meant she could sneak out easier than she'd expected. What was she thinking? He didn't care what anyone did, as long as it didn't kill him or his sister. She wished she could not want to care whether she died or not. She didn't have anything to live with. Leah walked silently over to Bellamy and mumbled "I'm going out, have fun with, with, this," she said glancing around at the others who, were quite frankly, a little too excited to be here. whatever THE HELL WE WANT It had been a year since he'd seen his sister. They certainly had lost time to make up for, but he was aware that he would eventually have to tell her about what he had done to get into the drop ship. He wouldn't be able to stay with the others long. While he was casually speaking to her, the young girl walked past him -- something he'd only even noticed because she had spoken. She stated that she was going out, and to have fun with this. He was no one's keeper. He wasn't going to go into detail about how it could be dangerous out there. If she wanted to leave on her own with practically nothing, that was her choice. Bellamy was no one's parent.
"Alright. Have fun," he said with a hint of sarcasm, hardly looking at her. His concern was for Octavia, and of course himself. He didn't exactly trust he other delinquents at the moment. He just needed to figure out what was best for the Blake family. He wasn't about to grow overly concerned with what everyone else was doing, or what decisions they impulsively made as soon as arriving to Earth. They were a bunch of teenagers who had been locked up and now suddenly granted their freedom. He didn't expect their behaviour to be anything different than what it currently was.

"Great, I will," Leah stated smirking and walking past Bellamy towards the sound of nature. Earth was nothing like she'd been taught it was. When she was little, and she'd been able to attend school, she'd learned that a war had gone on Earth. That's what made man-kind evacuatate, the bombs that were toxic. The nuculer bombs. Leah personally had hated these lessons, she'd found them boring. But now that she was on Earth, she thought back to those lessons as a peaceful time. The truth was, Leah was in search of her new spot. She was looking for something pretty, but not to pretty. As she walked past the trees, touching everything, she saw what could possibly be her new spot. It was a small pine tree, with branches low enough to the ground for her to climb. As Leah took to the first few branches, she picked up a flower that had fell from the tree. She'd found her spot. Leah decided to sit on one of the lower branches, and she thought about the others back at camp. They were all surviving so far, but that didn't matter. What would they do for food? Leah didn't care as long as she survived. Nobody else mattered to her, she knew she had to survive. She had done a few studies on what was possible to eat on Earth. Leah doubted anything in those books was still here, but it was worth a try, she had to survive somehow. Bellamy Blake

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Things seemed to be moving along. Clarke was determined to go to Mount Weather and Bellamy had retored with her bringing back the food with them. Her and her group of misfits went along . . . though the one person who was there that Bellamy was extremely concerned about, was Octavia. She had wanted to go and he'd let her. He hadn't seen her for a year and would never forgive himself if something happened to her now. He hadn't so recklessly let her out of his sight and wouldn't have, but there was something about the group of people who went with her. His gut was telling him that they would look after her and while it wasn't easy . . . he knew she would hardly take no for an answer. She wanted to do something crazy, well now was her chance. But he wasn't going to let her make a habit out of it.
Once she was gone, Bellamy got to organizing things. He had already recruited two people to be his seconds, John and Murphy, having told them -- and convinced them -- why they should remove the bracelets. Bellamy already planned to rally the crowd tonight, and have a bonfire where they would celebrate their liberty by taking off the bracelets. It would be the perfect occasion for their first night on Earth. But even before then, he would need to figure out arrangements. He re-entered the drop ship, looking around to see if there was anything that could be used. The Ark had hardly provided them with adequate provisions. They'd intended to send them to Mount Weather . . . but were way off with that. And now, it would be up to them to figure out how to survive. Either way, the Ark had sent them down here to die, and that was the point that Bellamy was going to make to the rest of the delinquents.
