Lilly knew she couldn't keep making little mistakes without the others picking up on where she was from. Alpha station was apparently a lot different from some of the working stations. Which sucked, because she had been given the impression it wasn't this different, but apparently they were. It left her trying harder then she should have to fit in--and it showed a bit. Shit! Lilly, or more exactly, Lilly Cartwig, daughter of Callie Cartwig, who was a member of the council and in the upper class; had seen how Wells JAHA and Clarke GRIFFIN were treated, and so she wasn't about to tell anyone she was one of them too. No one knew her face down here, so she was safe.
However, Lilly was a open person, and happy by nature, which meant that people didn't often look past her words and welcomed her with ease! She walked up to one of the girls who was sitting alone by a fire and plopped down, holding her chilled hands out too the fire. "I know it's warmer then the Ark, but at the same time I still get colder sometimes." She joked, not thinking about how the working stations might think it was warmer here because they didn't have as good ventilation in some places for heat or blankets. Smiling over at her, Lilly held out her hand--only recalling what she had learned about that, and switched to repeating to brush some dirt off the girl's jacket. "I'm Lilly!" She offered, smiling brightly over at the girl.

Thalia was still marveling at the difference that temperature. In the ark it was either humid from the farming sections, cold from the lower section in Agro station or just neither which way like in the communal areas. But here... In the sun, she felt the caressing warmth cross over her, soothing her muscles. In the shade, it was the tendril of a slightly crisp chill, to refresh the flushed face from all the kisses of the sun. And when the wind blew... Perfection.
It was the light and all the color and sensations that had her love drunk on Earth still. She would brush her fingertips over the lazy leaning leaves or tenderly roll the supple steams of plants ever now and then. And when she wasn't doing that, she'd put a hand out and watch as light filtered through her fingers, the dancing rays in ash and smoke of the fire. And then the sun went down and she was alone. Nighttime reminded her too much of the glimpses of space from out of Ark windows, all cold inky shadows and darkness swallowing up any color.
But oh the fire! Fire was entrancing! Not only did it leap and dance magnificently, but it put of the warmest kind of heat she had ever felt in her entire life. The sun was soothing, but fire was a true comfort somehow. The flames slowly nibbling on wood and anything else it was fed crackled delightfully and sent up lazy slow sparks, like slowly drifting stars. And the embers... They were more magnificent than any gem or stone, their rouge always changing its glow with each pirouetting flame.
A voice broke through her dazed and dreaming thoughts. Two hands, slender and well looked after, were illuminated by the fire. Following up their cousin arms, slender supports of those hands seemed to be attached to a very bubbly girl. Thalia looked at her for a moment, wondering how she would compare the differences between Earth cold and Ark cold to be so. But the girl's smile was returned after some hesitation, and her eyes flickered down to the offered hand. An offered hand that then seemed to recover and brush dust off her jacket. Thalia turned a bit red and looked back at the fire.
"Nice to meet you!" Her voice was usually soft and faded, much like the rest of her, but sparked a bit more to life with all the wonder and excitement of being on the ground. "I'm Thalia." Looking to the other girl once more, she smiled her low and honeyed smile. It was gentle and warm, but somehow sought to be comforting or understanding. Not a common smile among delinquents usually, but then again, everyone here was suppose to be a criminal... Not that it felt that way though. Rather interesting how many people her age were put in the Sky Box for banal or other wise common and mundane offenses...
"So, better than the view from the Sky box, right?" she tipped her head up to look at the star studded sky, "I do like the sun and blue sky better though..."
