WEEKLY IC (IN CHARACTER) CHATS This thread is to let you know of our Weekly IC chats that will be taking place on the site! Each week, there will be a different event posted in the IC chat that you can participate in as your muses! The designated Chat Box for IC chat is located at the bottom of this forum. A PM will be sent out, and this thread updated every Sunday to let you know about what the event of the week is! Throughout those 7 days, there may be incidents that occur to help your character have plenty to react to! This is just a fun way to encourage everyone to partake in the IC chat on the site!
Below are a few notes regarding it:
- The username that will appear in the chatbox is the account you are currently logged into. To switch the username, you must be logged into the desired character account.
- Forum and CB rules still apply in the IC chat, i.e. be respectful of others, no bashing, etc!
- As the IC chat is AU, events that take place or your character's actions, do not have to be consistent with the canon of the role play. It is just a place to have some fun, have your muses silly if you like, as what occurs in it will not effect your role play plots on the forum.
- Characters who have died in the series are of course allowed to participate in the IC chat!
- Along with incidents throughout the week, we will also personally contact certain members in the IC chat with special prompts specific to their character! Without the others knowing, they can react to the circumstances that the admin will privately give them. This will be for people who are consistently posting in the IC chat as motivation and a little something to look forward to!

EVENT #1: UNITY DAY CELEBRATION
October 23rd- October 29th This event is centered around the Unity Day celebration! Only this time, it's on the ground! All are welcome to attend! Arkers, Grounders, Mountain Men, etc! Characters who are deceased on the show are still permitted to take part in this event! It is open to everyone, and unlimited! There will be food, drinks, dancing, music, everything that a party and celebration entails!
Throughout the week, there will be incidents posted that others will react to! You may also be personally contacted with an incident specific to your character! This will be reserved for those frequently taking part in the IC chat!
Remeber: Events in the IC chat can be AU! It is not related to any of your role play threads, nor are you strictly committed to the canon of the show! If you have any questions about this event, please feel free to contact The Ark !

EVENT #2: HALLOWEEN October 30th - November 5th
 This event is focused on Halloween and everything creepy and spooky! Our event takes place in the woods, based at an abandoned bunker, but your character may explore the immediate area if they wish! Your character may also dress up however they choose!!
As we've seen in the show, the tradition of telling ghost stories has continued on The Ark and no doubt on the ground too! Does your character have a scary story? Do they believe in ghosts? Are they the prankster who likes to make others jump? All are welcome to attend - Arkers, Grounders, Mountain Men, etc. Characters who are deceased on the show are permitted to take part! The event is open to all!
Throughout the week, there will be incidents posted for characters to react. You may also be personally contacted with a task or action specific to your character! This will be reserved for those frequently taking part in the IC chat!
Note: Events in IC chat can be AU and are not related to your threads on the boards, nor must you stick strictly to canon! If you have any questions, feel free to contact Arkadia !
