.:Physical Appearance:. Miller stands around five feet, ten inches with a darker complexion that match his dark eyes that spark with intelligence, laughter and these days torment. Once he wore a beanie to hide his head and keep his head warm but he's abandoned that after Mount Weather, showing his clean shaven head. He also has facial hair, though that is kept shaven and not too long, preferring to keep it classy, as he would joke. Since he grew up in Alpha Station, Miller was taught to be respectful and that shows in his clothing, often clean and well kept though he knows that during survival, that isn't always possible.

.:Personality:. Nate has changed since coming to the ground, allowed to figure things out without fear of being caught and floated. Though he had to sharpen his survival skills, he went from being a sarcastic little shit in order to hide his fears to becoming outspoken, no longer afraid to voice or show his fears. Life is too short, too fleeting, for such things although he does still hide some of his fears - such as when it comes to the people he loves. He has shown to be a leader in tough times, willing to stand up for his friends and if he has something to say he will say it without apologizing. At least not in the heat of the moment.

To his friends he is loving, caring and loyal. He doesn't really hold much hate, a little healthy dose of distrust but he's learned to put his hatred of his enemy away, even welcoming them as friends. Peace is something he strives for, yet he knows it's a long road fraught with violence. And he's afraid, of he is afraid of losing those close to him. He's grown into a mature young man, with morals that he once scoffed at behind the doors of his prison in the skybox.
.:Special Skills:. Thieving. Miller learned in an attempt to rebel which made him rather decent before he was captured. He later used the skill in Mount Weather as they successfully broke into the President's office and cabinets. He's not proud to be a thief and would rather be known for something else but it's his burden to bear.

.:History:. Born on the Ark in Alpha Station, he was brought up by his father, a sergeant of the Guard and a kind mother. Though he was a good kid growing up, trying to do his best to emulate his father, things soured when he hit his teenage years. Like most teenages, Nate began to fight with his parents, moreso with his father and began hating the way he lived. It was stupid, he knew that when he was in the Skybox. In an attempt to rebel, Nate began to steal things, small items at first before it turned into something bigger, something that got him caught and locked in the Sky Box. He was 17 when he was caught, which meant he would get a trial when he turned 18 rather than outright death by floating.

He met Bryan, a boy from Farm Station, before he stole and it wasn't him that caused him to start stealing, well not really. Bryan would never condone him for stealing. It was a meeting of happenstance, completely random and the moment Nate saw him, he felt his heart skip a beat. Bryan was his first of many things - his first love, his first kiss, his first everything. Safe to say Nate fell in love with the boy from Farm Station and he couldn't be happier.

Until he was arrested. Bryan visited every chance he could until he was informed it would no longer happen. He demanded answers but no-one would answer his questions. Before he was sent to Earth, he took lessons in Earth Skills by Pike, something he didn't exactly take seriously. He'd heard about the girl under the floorboards and he was ashamed to admit he was a little bit of a bastard about it. He was fearful and that fear had turned to sarcasm as his armor.

He survived the crash land on earth, becoming one of Bellamy's seconds as they attempted to figure out their new life here. Over the time he lived in the dropship, he had to say goodbye to friends as they buried them, watch as the living tore each others throats out and enter a war they had no option to but to fight. His fight briefly ended when, after the battle that saw 300 grounder warriors burned alive, he was captured and taken to Mount Weather. At first he believed it was safety until the truth was revealed. He helped to donate his blood to the citizens of the mountain as they, him, Harper, Monty and Jasper, tried to figure out a plan.

Though they fought, they lost more of their friends, and when things looked bleak they were rescued. The price was all of Mount Weather citizens died. For a time there was peace, and he was happily reunited with his father and boyfriend when the Ark came crashing down. Peace did not last, could not last, not when the sky people and the grounders were so distrusteful. He used his rebellious nature to side with Kane and Harper against Pike, who also had survived. Unfortunately, he was put at odds with the man he loved and both ended up equally guilty of betrayal.

During his time in the rebuilt Arkadia camp, he was a guardsman.

Still, they stuck by one another, even when they were kidnapped and almost killed by a survivor of Mount Weather, survived keeping the now abandoned Ark safe and survived being grabbed by grounders while they were used as protection for Clarke in Polis. Their war against ALIE, which had started even before Jaha got to her(which he didn't know about), reached its conclusion as Nate helped fight off chipped grounders and Arkers, protecting Clarke while she went to find the kill switch.

Now all he wants to do is build the house on the lake, raise chickens and grow corn with Bryan.
