.:Atom is very loyal. He trusts Bellamy's instincts and does what he is told. Until Octavia calls him her brother's bitch. He is a kind gentle soul that cares about the others in the group. Though, he is willing to fight for their lives even if it means killing others so he wont lose his own.:.

.:Atom was caught trying to steal extra supplies to save his parents when they were injured in an accident on the ark. The result was him being locked up and his parents floated. Like most of the kids that were sent down, he had a grudge against the chancellor and was glad to remove the bracelet. To him it signified freedom and a big screw you to the adults that had put them here in the first place.

He grew up on the ark and the memory was just as much of a nightmare to him as living on the ground. But he would rather be on the ground and making his own choices than under the cruel hand of the adults. He was more of a follower than a leader.   :.
