.:Physical Appearance:. Miller has dark skin, like his father – he is actually quite proud of his ancestors culture. He keeps his hair cut short for practical reasons as he’s usually annoyed by longer hair falling into his face – also it suits others better. He usually keeps himself pretty neat, including trimming his facial hair and keeping a close eye on how his clothes were in shape. Apart from that, he doesn’t really care about his style too much. He liked practical shirts and shorts, guard uniform or, if it was possible not much at all. His personal preference when being alone was sweatpants and that was basically it.

.:Personality:. Miller is a fiercly loyal young man. He fights for what he believes in, even going as far as working behind loved ones' backs when it was to protect them. He’d go far for those he loved. As loyal as he is, he also inspires loyalty with some people. He inspires trust in his decisions as he is open about them and can thus rightfully justify his own ideas, even though he is aware that he can’t do everything all on his own and can't be flawless. He is human. He is wrong, too, but he has good intentions ultimately, even when stressed. He could also be a bit heated and temperamental. He’s sarcastic and smart, but also down to earth. For someone born on Alpha station he knows about the struggles in other stations as both his parents spent long times on other stations. His mother even was originally from factory. They never let him forget that privilege might be something he had, that he still had to work for what he wanted or else, why would he deserve it?

.:History:. Miller, as kid on Alpha station had a privileged upbringing, but his parents kept trying to keep him in contact with what this meant, what this was. He was, once, a good student especially when he was a kid wanting to impress his mother and father.
It changed when Nathan hit puberty. Like with many boys his age, he discovered sexuality, potential partners and the need to impress others. It was pressure of a kind he had not experienced before. It wasn’t an easy time for his parents, he knew that, nor was it an easy time for himself, with how confusing all of it was. He tried to keep up with school, but he got distracted with extracurricular activities that might not be deemed a wise choice. He tried to help others when he could, but he spent  more time trying to figure out his place on the Ark, among the others. It wasn't exactly all good during that time. He rebelled a bit, refusing to be seen as only a Miller, wanting to be his own person, wanting certain people to like him, even though in retrospect it might not have been the best choice. It wasn’t a surprise to him that he did get caught stealing, something he neither needed nor particularly wanted for any good reasons. Looking back he knew it was a bad choice, he could have been caught stealing for better reasons, for others maybe. That was perhaps what disappointed his loved ones the most. It did disappoint him, once he had time - a lot of time - to think on what he had done.
Locked up in the skybox for stealing – he was then sent to the ground with other delinquents, maybe even because he had potential to survive on the ground, but he could only speculate on the reasons. In the beginning he kept away from big decisions and trouble, needing to see the dynamics and the situation first. He put his skills to the test and got along with the people who stepped up as leaders and earned their trust through loyalty and skill. That soon meant he stepped up to help keep a bunch of kids in check and to fight grounders with them to keep them safe. All the while he still hoped he would get to see his family again.
