This is my Fight Song--TAKE BACK MY LIFE SONG, PROVE I'M ALRIGHT SONGBellamy's attempt at trying to make her smile again didn't work. Well, that was hard to say. Technically he did pull the corners of her lips up and that was what a smile was but otherwise, Harper continued to frown until her hands found their way into his hair. His hair was like magic, silky soft magic and the slight humming sound that he made sounded like a quiet bell to Harper. Of course it would sound like a bell, she thought as her mind jumped back to their earlier conversation. Bell was still a bell. His hands went to rest on Harper's knees and she just grinned at him, hands moving in his hair, tugging it it lightly and generally exploring the amazing locks that crowned his head. Even when Bellamy moved closer Harper didn't find any reason to complain, just smile, just giggle. She loved this. It was great.
With each new rhyme that Bellamy said Harper let out a giggle or a sound of awe. Either way, she appreciated them and loved them and Bellamy had well and truly proved himself to be the master of rhymes. And he had turned her frown upside down. That was great too, although Harper wasn't too sure by then why she had been frowning. His fair and his words were very distracting, it was a little difficult to think quite straight with them both around. "I think you'll find that with your great mind," she said and then paused, laughing at her own words and then continued to pause as she forgot what she was going to say next. "Um, you can rhyme..."
But then Harper couldn't think enough to say her next words because Bellamy's face was in her hair. He wasn't even really in her hair like her own hands were in his but the way he spoke against the side of her head was distracting. The way he breathed in quite obvious. Harper could do nothing but smile. Her eyelids fluttered shut and Harper tightened her grip in Bellamy's hair. It was almost like a weird hug that she was trying to do, keeping Bellamy's head against her hair. But then, quite suddenly, Harper wanted to actually hug him. Her hands slid out of his hair and wrapped around his arms instead, squeezing him as she rested her head on his shoulder. "You also smell good, like you should," Harper said with a giggle, her voice muffled as her mouth pressed against his shirt. |

Tag: @harpermcintyre whatever THE HELL WE WANT It never failed to feel amazing when Harper ran her hands through his hair. It was a sensation he always loved, and Harper doing it felt all the more wonderful. He took in a slow breath, basking in the feeling . . . her words -- attempted rhyming -- caused him to chuckle with amusement. He was distracted from carrying on the next line of the poem when she moved her hands out of his hair and wrapped them around his arms in a huge.
He tilted his head to the side, his hand brushing away her hair so that he could nestle his face in the crook of her neck. She smelled so good. She felt so good. Even his rhyming was put on the hold of the sake of this moment. "Not as good as you do," he teased her, speaking against her skin. "It's a good time for a rhyme . . . but now I'm distracted by how you smell." The latter words falling not falling into any rhythmic patterns. "You're like . . . an assault on my senses." Words felt before but never said. He wasn't even trying to be suggestive, though perhaps with the context of the words, it was inevitable to take them as such. Drawing his head back, he looked at her with a smile.

This is my Fight Song--TAKE BACK MY LIFE SONG, PROVE I'M ALRIGHT SONGIt felt amazing to be hugging Bell. He was like a big soft teddy bear. Papa bellear. And his smell was filling her nose in the most perfect way, pushing away everything else. It was like she was drowning in it and she held no complaints. How could she complain when this felt so nice? And it only felt better, her hair pushed back and his face pressed against the skin of her neck. When he spoke, his breath came against against her neck, tickling and causing her to giggle. "No, no," Harper said between giggles, twisting her neck a bit to try and stop the tickling his breath was causing. "You smell the best." Her voice still muffled against his shirt, Harper just giggled more at how odd it sounded.
When her giggles dyed down, Harper pressed a couple of light kisses to Bellamy's shoulder, against the fabric of his shirt, in appreciation for how nice he was to hug and smell. And well, Bellamy's words caught Harper's ears, sounding really suggestive. She hummed softly, slipping her arms under Bellamy's to hug him tighter, putting more effort into the action. "I love the smell of a bell," she said, a brighter smile finding her lips as she realised she had rhymed again. "And well, I think I'm under a spell." Bell had pulled back then, face looking at hers with nothing but a bright smile. Harper's face matched Bell's, even though her hug was forced to loosen because of him pulling back a bit. "I can be an assault on more senses." She didn't even know if that made sense but she just moved one of her hands back to his hair, smile not faltering. |
