I can't get them home without you. Of course you can't.
Helios moved under her swiftly, and O felt her blood move faster. The winds were moving her hair back, and without her braids she felt it wildly whipping around her. Biting her lip she urged her horse on. She would catch them tonight. The imprint of the rover's wheels were thicker then the day before, where they were fresh and the ground hadn't covered up the tracks. Slowing her horse down, she paused to read some of the tracks to make sure they w still heading in the direction she thought, before moving off the trail to try to cut though a thicker part of the woods and catch up.
A few hours later she had slowed to a walk since it was dark. Where were they?! She couldn't pick up the trail, but surely they'd have a fire or something? O jumped off her horse, and took the reigns in her hands. She had a light from the Ark, and shined it on the ground. A short time later she heard a fight break out, and she grew still. Helios shifted his weight, and she moved her hand to brush back his fur, and say things calming to him. There was too animals fighting. She could hear the bear's growls and something else. A wolf she thought. O stayed there and still until the sounds became clear that the bear won.
She moved then, and ended up coming upon the scene of the fight. The bear and it's meal were long gone. She shined her light around the area to make sure she didn't see anything, before moving closer tot he den. If she couldn't find Bell then this might be her place to sleep for the night. As she got closer she heard little sounds from inside. Moving closer she found the source. Two cubs. "Lost your Mom, too, huh?" She asked them, knowing how they felt. O reached her hand out to touch one of them, but just then Helios shifted his weight, and backed up. Something else was out there. Pulling her sword she looked toward the area Helios had moved away from, and waited for whatever it was to move into her sight.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT They had made camp for the night after a long day of traveling. Long, but productive. They had made good time, covered enough ground and besides, everyone needed to rest. Bellamy had decided to do a quick patrol of the surrounding area while the others prepared dinner. With his weapon and walkie talkie in hand, Bellamy set out. With his flashlight in hand, he made his way through the heavily wooded area. But a sound in the not so far distance, made him freeze. He immediately raised his weapon, shutting off his flashlight as he picked the weapon over the need for light.
The moon illuminated enough to see. Slowly, cautiously, he followed the source of the sound. He wanted to see what it was. Whether it was a Grounder, or wildlife. If it was the latter, maybe it could be dinner. But either way, the risk of it being a threat was what prompted Bellamy to follow it. Steadying his breathing and watching where his feet stepped so that he would have the quiet advantage. But as the figure came into view . . . Bellamy halted. The silhouette alone was one he would be able to recognize even in the darkest of areas. He slowly began to lower his weapon; slow, only due to the shock he felt over seeing who it was.
"Octavia?" He both asked and stated, still not moving closer to her. Ordinarily, a reunion between them would be met with hugs and relief. While there was the latter at seeing she was alive . . . Bellamy was, afraid . . . for lack of a better term. And he ahted that fear he now felt hen seeing her. Uncertain as to how much more he should express his failures and intensify the guilt that already plagued him. "What are you doing here?" He asked quietly, demand lacking in his tone. Curiosity taking place of any sort of authority. It was then that he also noticed the two small animals surrounding her, though his gaze remained on the other Blake sibling.

I can't get them home without you. Of course you can't.
Helios shifted once more as a tall frame came out of the woods. She didn't move at first, only holding her sword and watching as the shape became clearer, and finally became one she knew without thinking too much about who made it. The hair would always give her brother away. As he lowered his weapon, she put up her sword. Now that she was face to face with him she wasn't sure what she would say. The way he said her name made it clear he was surprised to see her, and why not? She hadn't volunteered for this. Octavia knew Bellamy would, but a few days after he was gone she just set out after him. The rover might go faster but Helios could go into tighter places, and try to cut down on the distance. Even still it took a while to catch up.
Bellamy asked why she was here, and O stared at him for a moment. Normally she would have just been honest with him but everything had been so tense that the words of 'I wanted to be here with you' wouldn't come. "Kane sent me." She lied, "In case you guys needed more help." O wanted to go hug him, to let him hug her. She was having trouble seeing the hope in the mission. The world was going to end, and if it did then she really only had one place she wanted to be--with her brother.
But saying it was hard. There was so much between them, and she still felt so much anger at the world. She stepped to she side and looked down at the cubs, "I found these," but she didn't move toward them. Only watched him.
