well good job then
Marcus stood at the doorway to his room, and looked back out the window. His was, once again, one of the only rooms with a view. Turning from it, he shut his door and began walking out of the Ark. A year ago, he never thought he would be standing on Earth. A month ago, he thought he would be dead before he could, now he was waking up to sunrises, and embracing the warm sun. He thought of his mother, often. She would have loved it here, had she lived to see it. Her death still weighted on him, but he couldn't let it stop him from pushing forward. They still had 48 people out there, that they had to help.
A guard ran up to him and informed him that people were approaching the gate. He took one of the spare guns and hurried to it, not knowing if Lexa had gone back on her word, or if Clarke was still working toward getting the to help us. Lexa had demanded Finn's life before they could have peace, and in the end, Finn had gave himself up. Now they needed a plan to move forward. What he found was that it was not grounders, but their own people! Another station had made it home. Lowering the weapons, Marcus ordered the gate to be opened before hurrying out of it. He saw an old friend fromt he Ark walking in the lead. "Pike?" It was farm station. They'd managed to get here!

It was rumors first. It was the grounders that spoke of people, like them, in the south. Now that was a surprise, but at the same time one they initially couldn't act on as the grounders slaughtered men, women and children alike. They lost some during the crash of farm station and more during the first day after landing, during the first attack. More attacks followed, during which they finally heard of the other survivors. They immediately packed what they could, carried the other injured ones. The trek was long. They had to make camp during the night, but eventually they saw it, the unmistakable Ark that was once firmly attached to Alpha station. They were there. The closer they came, the calmer Pike got. They had a wall. It looked a lot safer than farm station was for them. Pike lowered the weapons as they approached, making sure those supporting injured could go in first, maybe getting help with them. They would finally be taken care of, Pike hoped.
As they walked in, several people, as Charles expected, were walking up to help them care for the wounded. The people supporting them sat down. Pike, having lead them with a map and a gun close by, looked at the man approaching. Marcus. "Kane! It is so good to see you!" He announced. He held out his hand for the other man to shake. "So the grounders weren't wrong. You guys are alive and apparently pissed them off."
