.:Personality:. Nina likes to keep to herself and keeps a close group of friends. She isn't really a social butterfly but she knows how to be charismatic when need be. She's a very loyal person and takes loyalty very seriously. She gets her kindness from her mother but her determination from her father. Her sarcasm often gets her into trouble but she is often able to talk her way out of something. She likes to observe situations in order to assess everything around her. Her fatal flaw is definitely her willingness to break any rules for the people she cares about. Despite her position on the guard, depending on the situation Nina doesn't even think when it comes to protecting someone she loves. The people on her list of those she loves is very small, but she would do anything for them.

.:Special Skills:. Nina is skilled in hand to hand combat, but isn't that great with guns. She can handle a knife just fine and tends to prefer it to a gun. She doesn't like the idea of running out of bullets with a gun. Nina is also a very good liar and knows how to spot lies on other people. This was a skill her father taught her but gaining the ability to lie was a skill she developed on her own.

.:History:. When Nina was born, her father was a Sergeant in the Guard. His goal was to be at the very top, willing to do anything to get to that spot. Her mother taught smaller children at the school and was very kind to everyone around her. She was quite the opposite of the stern Matthew Eaton. As Nina grew up her father moved up in the ranks, reaching Major by the time she was sixteen. When Nina turned eighteen she joined the Guard and began her classes. Her father gave her no special treatment but treated her more harshly than the other Cadets in her class. However, he just thought this would make her stronger so he felt no remorse for the treatment. Nina had two best friends growing up but she didn't get to see them as much once she joined the Guard. She befriended Bellamy Blake once she was in the Guard. The two were friendly but stayed out of the other person's business. It wasn't until she witnessed Bellamy stealing medicine that she became more intrigued. Wanting to help her friend, she stole food and gave it to him, guessing that the medicine would make him weak. She didn't want him getting yelled at, so she decided to help him with rations. A few weeks later she tried stealing food for him again and stored it in her room. However, the Guard came by for a routine inspection and found the stolen food. Nina panicked but her mother said that she had taken the food to give to the kids in her class because they were always hungry. Her mother was floated for her crimes and her father didn't do anything to stop it. Nina felt horrible for getting her mother floated and carried the grief with her everywhere. But she was also angry at her father for not even trying to stop her mother from being killed.

Nina continued through school and eventually became a Cadet. However, she distanced herself from her father. She didn't like the man he became and she wanted to make sure she didn't end up like him. Her friends were there for her which she was thankful for. Nina survived the journey that the Ark took, making its way down to Earth.
