.:Physical Appearance:. Ellie is short for her age, she has a pale complexion that is followed by light blonde hair. Her blue eyes are almond shaped with a small ring of green hidden inside her blue. Her body type is typical for a girl who was raised in the orphanage on the ark. Slender, bony even, with small arms and a tiny stature.

.:Personality:. Ellie is very timid, she finds it difficult to make friends. It is hard for her to get close to someone when she is afraid that everyone that gets close to her dies. She is extremely loyal to those she is friends with, and wants to do all she can to protect those that are close to her. She isolates herself, unknowingly, by being meek and fearful of anything new. Ellie was raised to be polite to those that had more knowledge than herself, elders as well. She hadn't started showing interest in any jobs on the ark, although she would have loved to teach some of he children how to read or write. 

.:Special Skills:. She loves to read and write as well as write poetry. Even though she wasn't the oldest in the orphanage, she loved teaching the younger kids how to read. She even had 'story time.'

.:History:. Ellie was born on March third to her parents, Annie and Jarrod. They loved her more than the air they were allowed to breath on the ark. It was why they did what they did, the reason they were floated. She got sick, really sick....she had fluid in her lungs and the doctors said there wasn't much they could without more medication and they had already used the allotted amount. She was going to die without it, so her father, broken into the med cupboard and stole antibiotics. They helped her get better, but because of it, her father was floated. Her mother tried to stop them from floating her husband and was then floated too because she punched one of the guards.

She is now alone, in the small area they call the 'orphanage,' with no one that she knows. She doesn't like the people that surround her and she just wants to go home. But because She was only thirteen, they wouldn't allow her to live in the space alone. So she was sent to the orphanage. They don't feed them as much as everyone else. She is grateful for the food they do give out, but it always seems like they are hungry. Their reasoning for it, they are small children who do not work and therefore do not need as much food to sustain their lives. But in all reality they were feeding them plenty it just felt to the children that they weren't getting enough.

They are small and their bodies are still growing, they needed food to keep them growing or they would be stunted. They don't seem to care, so one day, Elaine, stole an extra protein pack for the little girl that was her bunk mate. She was starving and her stomach hurt to point that she didn't want to get out of bed. Ellie gave her the food and was caught, they took her away in handcuffs. Stealing food from the mouths of the more 'privileged' was illegal. It didn't matter, the little girl got to eat more for a day, at least she did her duty in caring about those who weren't as 'privileged.'



Ellie has been in lock up for about a year now. It isn't all bad, they get food, and get to play cards as well as hang out. Ellie mostly reads and stares up at the stars, but other kids find it necessary to start fights and get into it with the guards. There's no point, they aren't going to let them out and she knows that at eighteen She will be floating just like her parents were. She didn't add anything to society on the ark, and Ellie was just another mouth to feed. 


But they came to her room, it was early morning or afternoon, she doesn't really remember all that much. They grabbed her wrists and told her to put on some sort of bracelet. She was only fourteen and they were already going to float her? What was the world coming to!? So she started screaming and kicking at the guards, she landed a good kick in one of their crotches. He felt to the floor pretty quick. After that, her mind goes into darkness.
