.:Physical Appearance:. Jaga is very tall and thin, with an olive complexion, full lips, heavy brow, and a well-defined jawline. She has brown eyes and brown, curly hair that hangs around her face. Her appearance is somewhat androgynous, and given her height and lack of obvious curves, she is occasionally mistaken for a young man. She doesn't usually bother correcting people. She would call herself female if asked, but she doesn't strongly identify with any gender.

.:Personality:. Jaga is smart and resourceful, though not afraid to play dumb if she thinks it will work to her advantage. She is not quick to correct people's assumptions about her, or quick to trust, especially in the case of Skaikru. She used to laugh and smile easily, and maybe still could if she became close to someone, but since her family was killed, smiles don't come easy these days. She is brave and will put up a fight is she needs to, but she tends to avoid direct conflict.
.:Special Skills:. Hunting, fishing, skinning and preparing animals for cooking, preserving, or for using inedible parts for clothing, making tools/weapons, etc.. She's very good with a bow and arrow, and can handle knives, but swords feel unwieldy in her hands and she would not fare well in close combat. She prefers to hunt her prey (or potential human threats, if necessary) from afar with her bow, knowing she's not really a physical threat.

.:History:. Jaga's childhood wasn't stress-free. There were conflicts between clans, but until Skaikru came down to Earth, Jaga was satisfied with her life. Her mother had been a warrior, and her father a hunter/gatherer. Jaga had wanted to train to be a warrior like her mother, but was deemed too scrawny as a child, so she followed her father's footsteps and learned to hunt, where she became proficient with a bow and arrow. When she was old enough, she started traveling to Polis weekly to sell her meats and others goods to vendors there.

Her mother did her best to teach her and her brother English when she could. Jaga understands English well, for the most part, but her use of it isn't perfect. She can be understood the majority of the time, though.

Within a couple of months of of Skaikru landing, all of her family was dead. Her mother died in a bridge explosion set off by Skaikru, and her father and twin brother were killed by the Mountain Men when they bombed TonDC. Jaga was in Polis at the time of the bombing. She was devastated by their deaths, and became a bit reckless, going on hunts by herself. Eventually, she was easily captured by Reapers and thrown into a cage in Mount Weather. She's not sure how long she was there before Lexa made her deal with the Mountain Men, setting Jaga free again.

Jaga moved to Polis after her release from the mountain and tried to find her place in the world without her family, tried to piece her life back together and move on. Though she started to grow angry with Lexa. Angry at her apparent closeness to Wanheda. Angry when there was no retaliation for the massacre of 300 people. However, when Skaikru invaded after Lexa's death offering strange chips for people to swallow to alleviate their pain, Jaga became scared. When people started getting crucified, Jaga fled Polis. She's currently on her own in the woods, killing what she needs to eat to survive and trying to avoid trouble. At least there are no longer Reapers to worry about.
