Tag: Bellamy Blake Atleast he survived the drop to earth, but had had a headache from the moment they hit the ground. Rune had wandered around for, what felt like, hours, but the truth is that there has only one hour gone by. He had observed a few delinquents who came down with him. On the Ark he had just a few friends, but all of them were still up there. He took a look at the sky but was blinded by the sun, which forced him to close his eyes. He wished he was still up there, safe and with his parents. But instead of being there, he was forced to go to the ground. After a few minutes of sitting, Rune stood up and went in a straight line to a guy he knew as Bellamy. "You don't look like a delinquent, do you?" He said with a small grin on his face. "How did you manage to get down here?" He asked and looked at the clothings he was wearing. Ah, that's why. He hadn't been awake until the drop ship almost hit the ground, so he never saw Bellamy entering it and doesn't even know if anything happened on The Ark itself. He wondered if his parents knew he was send to the ground. Would they be worried about him if they knew?

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Surviving the landing was the first stage. Now they could move on to the second. There was already a divide forming, though the princess was massively outnumbered at the moment. She had taken a few others -- his sister among them -- to find this Mount Weather place. And in the meantime, Bellamy was going to get to work. He'd overheard her speak about the bracelets that all the delinquents wore, that would keep them connected to the Ark. That was something that Bellamy couldn't let remain in tact. He didn't want the bastards following them down, knowing that he would undoubtedly be executed for his crimes. For assassinating the Chancellor. And so, he was working on a way to convince the others to take it off, though he had not yet vocalized any of that. No. He was merely observing. Taking in the delinquents.
If he tried to insert himself in a position of authority right now, he doubted it would be met with open arms. It was why the princess and Wells had failed in rounding up the masses. They were privileged. Entitled. But not down here. Down here, anything goes. Bellamy was pulled out of his casual observing when he heard a voice of someone approach. Turning his head, he eyed the younger male who pointed out that he wasn't a delinquent. And then asked him how he got down here. "Same way as you," he said with a slight shrug. "On the drop ship." Bellamy knew that wasn't the answer that the delinquent was looking for, but purposely answered it as such. Perhaps a hint of sarcasm in his voice as well. "How come you're here and not running around with the others?" He questioned, wondering what angle this guy was working . . . or whether it was perhaps just curiosity that peaked the younger male.

Tag: Bellamy Blake The answer Rune got was not the one he expected, so he frowned a bit. "Captain obvious," he murmled and looked around. He heard the question Bellamy asked and looked back at the brawny guy in front of him. "I'm not the enthusiastic type of person. Well, I am, but in an other way. . ." he tried to explain and grimaced. He wiggled from one foot to the other. This was a thing he did when he got a little awkward. "I was thinking. Since you're not a delinquent, why don't you step up for leader? I mean, you have the gun. People will listen to you. . . I'll be by your side to help you, if you need that. Oh, and I can gather herbs and seeds, since I'm from Farm station, I know how to harvest and stuff." He rattled and smiled a little awkwardly to Bellamy. "Sorry, I can stop talking if you want?" his eyes were pointed at the ground and he laughed a bit. Then he scratched the back of hid head. He was not much of a leader, but if Bellamy wanted him to start up a farming point, he would do that and gather the people from Farm Station. Did Bellamy knew his name though? Rune wasn't sure about that, so he looked up again. "By the way, I'm Rune."

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy watched the younger male as he answered his question, revealing that he wasn't the enthusiastic type . . . only in other ways. "And what ways are that?" He inquired. It was the man's next words that caused Bellamy to pause, slightly raising an eyebrow at the suggestion. Bellamy hadn't come down here to lead a bunch of kids. He had come down for his sister and that was all that mattered. Although, at the same time, he knew that he had to rally them up . . . even if it was just to take off the bracelets that they wore. That, was the only kind of leading he needed to do. But he also had to tread carefully. He had gained the support of some of them by targeting the privilege, demanding that they do the work for a change. He needed to keep that philosophy since most of the people down here weren't privileged.
"I think the last thing these people want, is someone to tell them what to do," he began to say. "We escaped one leader, I'm not going to replace him with another." Mainly the Chancellor. Bellamy also wasn't sure how he felt about the delinquent knowing about his gun, but he supposed news was going to spread fast enough. "Everyone here deserves freedom. Not to be tied down by a leader telling them what to do. Not even by the princess or Jaha Junior." And if Bellamy got too cocky with the people's support, he would lose it. Which was why, he needed to ease his way into controlling them . . . by giving them the belief that they were deciding something on their own.
Still. The fact that this particular Arker was willing to follow whatever leadership role Bellamy inserted himself into . . . well, the older male certainly wasn't dismissive of that. "I would talk to other people from farm about that," he told him. There were bound to be a ton of them here. From what Bellamy heard, even a couple of the delinquents that went with the princess had a strong knowledge in herbs. Bellamy wasn't going to pretend to have a strong expertise in this field. When he introduced himself, the former janitor gave a short nod. "Bellamy." His eyes flickered to the silver bracelet on Rune's arm. "Shame. That you're still a prisoner of the Ark," he stated. He wasn't sure how many people exactly knew what the bracelet did. Bellamy was more than willing to explain it though.

tag Bellamy BlakeWhile talking Rune saw Bellamy's eyebrow rise and he knew the guy wasn't into what he said. Oops. "You're right, but there has to be some kind of order, right? It's your own choice by the way, I'm not here to tell you what to do," Rune smiled at Bellamy and watched a guy running by, screaming and laughing. Rune chuckled and shook his head. It was good to be free, but was Earth even safe? There was still radioactivity. Atleast, Rune heard some people on the Ark talking about it. But the Ark would not send down all of their delinquents if it wasn't safe, right? Unless they wanted to get rid of them. . ."I will. . ." Rune said when Bellamy told him to talk to the other people from Farm station. Shortly after, Bellamy told Rune his name and Rune nodded, not saying he already knew. When Bellamy told him he was still a prisoner of the Ark, Rune rose his own eyebrow and followed Bellamy's eyes to his arm. There was a silver bracelet on his right wrist and he lifted his arm to look at it. "How do you mean?" he examined the bracelet and tried to open it, but it was impossible. "What does this thing do, Bellamy?" he asked and pointed at his wrist.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy knew that Rune was right, in that there had to be some semblance of order . . . but all in good time. "Maybe," he agreed nonchalantly, not wanting to reveal the wheels turning in his head about this entire situation, and how to make it most advantageous to him. "But right now, I think we all deserve to enjoy the freedom from the Ark. Well, most of us." Another reference to the bracelet, and fortunately, Rune inquired as to what it did. Bellamy was all too happy to reply.
"That bracelet is letting the Ark keep tabs on you. So long as its on your wrist, you're still under their control. They know where you are at all times, they know what you're doing, everything." Bellamy paused for a moment, taking a step closer to Rune. "They sent us down here to die. Do you think they deserve to know that we made it so that what, they can follow us down after we've done all the work?" Risking it all on their lives, only to benefit themselves. A sacrifice that they had been willing to made. "What was it Jaha called us all . . . oh right, expendable." Disposable. Damn guinea pigs for them. "So do you wanna keep helping them? Or do you want to be fully liberated from their laws and control?" His answer would allow Bellamy to know how best to proceed.

Rune looked at Bellamy when he started telling him about the bracelet and frowned. Rune didn't want the guards, Chancellor Jaha and the rest of that group to get to the Earth. But he would give up everything to see his parents again, although he knew Bellamy was right. As what he knew now, they still were prisoners and were 'watched' from The Ark. Rune bit his lip and looked at the bracelet. "But - what about my parents?" he asked uneasily and looked up at the guy. "Do they even know I'm down here? And what if they do and think I'm dead, while I'm still alive. It'll break their heart. . . " Rune knew Bellamy was right, but the thought about his parents being heartbroken when they find out he's dead is killing him. He wanted nothing else but freedom, but he wanted it with them and not with 99 other criminals. Well, now that there's no other way, he has to live with it, but he finds it really hard right now. "I'm not even a criminal, so this bracelet is not really necessary on me, but yeah. . . I really don't want to hurt my parents more then I already did, while it wasn't even my fault that the guy died. You know?" Rune was in a sort of denial against himself and started to stress out a little.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Parents. Rune had parents. Well, that wasn't entirely uncommon. Bellamy her persuaded some of the delinquents who had parents to take off their bracelets. Perhaps he could get through to this one. "To the Ark, you're a criminal. But I say, that you're not a criminal." Words he an announced to the crowd; ones that he wanted to remind Rune of now. That the Ark saw him as a criminal; saw him as expendable. Whatever he had done or hadn't done, he was arrested for it. And sent down here to die. To the Ark . . . he was someone who broke the law. And was now suffering for it.
Bellamy wanted Rune, and the others to know, that he saw them as more than that. Whatever it took to get the bracelets off their wrists. "Your parents already think you're dead," he told him. "Do you honestly believe that the council, the privileged, are going to tell people like your parents about what's going on down here? They didn't even tell them when they sent the ship down, until after the fact when they had no choice." Bellamy was making assumptions, but backed up with logical thought.
He hadn't heard a word about this when he'd been on the Ark. "Look whatever you did or didn't do up there, doesn't matter anymore. Not down here. What matters if that by wearing that bracelet, you're helping the people who sent you down here to die. And those people . . . aren't doing a damn thing for your parents." Including telling them about Rune's current state. Bellamy wasn't interested in everyones reason for getting locked up. He was only interested in what they intended to do when it came to helping his cause.
