Kyle blinked, and his first thought was that the sun was bright and the smell down here sucked! It was only a faction of a second later that he realized what that was, where he was, and what was happening---and he thought he was going to be sick. It only took him a few other seconds to realize that he was standing around a much of grounders. One moment he had been in some freaking city in his head and now everyone was in the real world--and he had no idea where she was. For a moment he looked around that the bloody mess he was standing in and tried to picture how horrified she would be standing here too. He knew that she had lost her girl friend to the grounders, and that being surrounded by them had to be triggering.
Wick moved around the grounders slow at first but they didn't seem to care that he was there. Once he realized it he tried to move faster--but that computer bitch didn't overly feed them and he felt weak and disoriented. He was running between people, and trying to find her shade of hair--thank the moon for once for her hair! Wick leaned on a wall and tried to look around. He didn't want to call out in case it drew the attention of the grounders. He needed to find her! She didn't have anyone but him, and she was still young! He had to protect her . . . and there was more too it. Maybe he was in love with her, maybe there was no maybe in that statement. "What the hell, maybe they are high too," he muttered to himself and risked gaining the attention, "BREE?"

Dance like no The moment ALIE was gone, Bree -- like the others -- felt the immediate effect of it. Thrust upon them was the pain of everything that had been suppressed. The realization of what they had done. The flooding of every possible emotion that some had purposely taken the chip to eliminate, and for others, the chip had been forced. All Bree knew was that when she snapped out of it, she was surrounded by Grounders. She wanted to scream but the terror of everything stole her voice.
Her eyes frantically looked around her, trying to find Kyle. Trying to find any other Arker. But she couldn't. Only grounders surrounded her and it made her sink to her feet, holding her knees as she tucked herself into a corner, feeling the tears flood her eyes. Maybe they wouldn't notice her if she just hid away like this. Maybe they wouldn't care that she was among them. Maybe -- "BREE!" The familiar voice caused her to jerk her head up, and hastily rise to a stand. Kyle! He was here! Somewhere! A new found desperation took her over as she weaved through the crowd, trying to find the voice.
And when she did, relief didn't even begin to describe what she felt. She raced toward him. Leaping into his arms, wrapping her arms so tightly around his neck that she didn't even care if she was cutting off his breathing. She just clung to him as if her life depended on it. Squeezing her eyes tightly shut, not wanting to focus on where they were, but only the scent of him, the feel of him. And that she suddenly felt safe in his arms. "Get me out of here!" She urged, not wanting to spend a second longer in this please. "Please, take me home," she added more quietly, more emotionally.
