Sydney grew up on the ark always exploring and getting into things she shouldn't. On the Ark, it was just her and her mother Marina and her father Jackson. She was an only child, of course, living on the ark. She was often in trouble because she saw something she wasn't supposed to see or touched something she shouldn't have touched. She grew up a pretty normal life for a kid growing up in space. She did not have alot of friends and spent most of her time to herself exploring the Ark and discovering new hiding places. She was a bit of a rebel growing up because she was always breaking curfew and going into restricted areas of the Ark.

When Sydney was 16, she was caught exploring the GoSci Station, a restricted area of the ark, after curfew and was arrested. When she was sent down on the ark, she saw a whole new world of opportunities. She instantly volunteered to be a scouter so she could freely explore the new world around her without getting into trouble for doing so. She loved to climb the trees and swim across the lakes she came across. She would venture into the darkest of caves without fear. She was ruthless when it came to exploration, which made her one of the Arkers top scouters.
