.:Name:. Emori .:Nick Name:. None .:Affiliation:. Nomadic Grounder .:Age:. 20
| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ |
.:Physical Appearance:. Emori has tanned skin and wears ragged pale clothing that is torn in places and a headscarf. She has a tattoo on her face and has dark brown hair which is usually loose with a collection of small braids like most grounders underneath her headscarf. On one side of her face she had a narrow curving scar beneath her eye. Whilst she is in the dead zone she often keeps her face covered and on one hand she wears a glove to disguise her large mutated hand, preferring to hide it rather than attract the unwelcome attention of others who might only view her as a stain on the bloodline that needs to be erased. .:Height:. 5'5 .:Portrayed by:. Luisa D'Oliveira

.:Personality:. Emori is understandably distrustful of people when she first meets them as she has had to live a hard life, avoiding anybody who might pose a threat to her family. She is also an intelligent young woman who uses her intelligence to trick unsuspecting travellers and to lure them into a trap so that she and her brother can rob them of their possessions. She is a feisty individual and doesn't like to be controlled. Emori has a more caring side to her and she cares deeply for her brother as he is the only family that she has left. .:Special Skills:. Emori never got the chance to experience clan life and because of this she had to rely on her parents to teach her everything she knows. She is handy with a knife and relies more on her intelligence than brute strength. She uses her size as an advantage as she is quite small and doesn't immediately look like much of a threat.

.:Birthplace:. Tondc .:Family:. Otan (brother, 17) .:Occupation:. Thief, particularly interested in stealing technology for various sources. .:History:. Emori was born in Tondc to two loving parents, but she was never meant to be born. It was evident from the moment her mother saw her that she was different, she looked like a perfectly normal baby girl. That is until you took a closer look at her left hand, it was deformed and as soon as other people started to notice this abnormality, they began to make demands. They wanted her gone, she was a stain on the bloodline, something that needed to be erased, destroyed so that it could do no damage. However her parents could not bring themselves to abandon their child to die. They left the village before things could escalate out of control.
It wasn't easy for Emori's parents to raise a young child without the protection of a clan and the struggle only got harder once Otan came along. They'd convinced themselves that when the child arrived that they could find a way to get it accepted into the clan, they still had family in the village, friends who might take the baby if it was asked of them. However they hadn't expected for their second child to have a mutation as well, they were horrified when their little boy arrived and he was damaged just like their daughter, they knew that he would never be accepted anywhere, both their children would be shunned by all they met.
Emori and her family spent most of their time travelling, never spending too much time in one place, it wasn't safe for them to stay in one area for too long. They made their life by stealing from other nomads and merchants. At first, her parents had no desire to venture anywhere near the dead zone, there were stories of a place past the dead zone... A city of light, it was meant to be safe there, many nomads were searching for this place. However they knew that their children were too young to survive such a long journey in such harsh conditions.
When Emori was fifteen her parents finally made the decision to travel into the dead zone. Both Emori and Otan were old enough to stand a good chance at surviving the journey. There would be less people around, less people who could discover the deformities that their offspring had. However, things went bad after a spending a couple of months in that wasteland. Wastelanders were desperate people and desperate people were dangerous. They found that out the hard way one night when a group of wastelanders attacked their camp, their parents tried to fight them off but it was futile. Emori saw her parents fall and she dragged her brother off into the night. They were alone now without their parents to protect them.
The siblings resorted to a life of crime again, stealing from people just so that they could survive. They didn't need their parents anymore, they relied on each other to survive and together they found the city of light. They started scavenging and stealing technology to sell to others who might want it, they learnt that this was easier than taking the risk to steal from other wastelanders, they didn't need to come into contact with other people as often and that's how they liked it, they'd spent their lives alone, outcasts in the world and that was never going to change. They didn't need it to change.
