whatever THE HELL WE WANT It was a long, busy day. More so than usual. They had been particularly ambitious with the attempt to map the area, venturing further out than usual, which also involved a meticulous scouting of the area. By the time they finally returned, Bellamy quickly updated Abby and Kane with a report, but at the late hour, it was brief. He would go over all the details tomorrow. The main thing was that there was no particular disturbance -- no encounter with Grounders that would have potentially led to that. Once the weapons were returned, their things unpacked, the Rover quickly checked . . . and Bellamy ensuring everything went smoothly here, he was finally able to retire to his apartment.
He first went to the Hangar however, wanting to see if Gena was still working. She wasn't. The place had closed and that made him feel . . . relieved. Selfishly so perhaps. But then, he was being selfish in this entire relationship, by allowing himself to be with her and thus . . . happy. If she wasn't here then he assumed she was at his apartment, a place that they spent most of their off duty time. Especially at night when there were no distractions around them.
His eagerness to get there was immense. Once he opened the door, he immediately saw her, closing it behind him as he approached her. Wordlessly. Instead, he let his actions speak for themselves. He pressed his lips against her own, a hand on her cheek as he breathed into the kiss. Coming home to her, was like finding his sanctuary. His safe haven. Easing out of the tender embrace, his lips hovered mere inches apart from hers, as he slowly opened his eyes, looking at her radiant beauty as his lips curved into a soft smile. "Hey."

The day seemed longer than it was. It was because of a certain someone not being home, but being out there. It wasn’t like she underestimated him. She knew he could take care of himself and protect himself and others. She also knew that Bellamy would protect others first. She admired that about him, she loved it. She felt secure with him and she would do anything to protect him, even if it was outside of her skillset, that didn’t matter to her, as it didn’t matter to him. She was just worried about his well being. That was why she was glad when she got to close the bar early. Aside from their resident alcohol heads, people went home early. Gena didn’t care to ask why. She was just glad she could return home.
Having the tablet on her legs, she sat at the table when the door opened, finally revealing Bellamy home. She barely had time to set the tablet down and get up, before he had taken the steps to her to kiss her. Genas arms immediately went around Bellamys neck, a hand gently massaging the back of his head, as usual. He was in one piece, it seemed. He walked. And he kissed her as usual. There was no wincing. Gena moaned gently into the kiss they shared. He seemed so enthusiastic about seeing her and really, it was similar. Holding onto the front of his shirt next, Gena stared up at Bellamy, smiling brightly. He was safe, that was all she wanted to see. And then, well him, for obvious reasons. “Someone is happy to see me.” She commented with a grin. And that someone was not just him, she was happy to see him as well. It worked both ways. She hated having him outside, not knowing if he would come back in one piece. Maybe that was why she then grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him back to her, to kiss him again. It was long, drawn out, tongue seeking access into his mouth as she held herself to him, desperate to know exactly, that he was okay.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Seeing her smile only caused his own to grow. She was so damn beautiful; always managed to make his heart skip a beat. She commented on being happy to see him, and well, that was completely true. "When am I not?" He teased in return, just before his lips were captured by hers once more. He parted his lips to allow her access, his arms wrapping around her as his hand slid up her back, over the cloth of her t-shirt that he felt all too compelled to remove.
He breathed into the kiss, drinking in her delicious taste as it always quenched that burning thirst he had for her. Only sated when they were able to be together. Easing out of the kiss, his lips trailed across her cheek, along her neck as he brushed back her lusciously curled hair to give him access to the planes of her neck as he kissed along it.
"How was your day?" He asked almost playfully in between each touch of his lips against her skin. It wasn't that he was entirely disinterested in the question, he was always interest in her and how she spent her time. But it was competing with the desire he felt for her. The need to be with her in the way they were able to now considering the privacy. One hand already started to slip under the fabric of her shirt, caressing her side, skimming along the front of her stomach to make some sort of contact with her warm skin.

In some ways this was unexpected and yet expected, too. When he was outside emotions ran high. Sometimes, or rather often, they came home with them. And their reunions were always on fire. The fact remained that she could loose him anytime he left, because of how protective and selfless he was. She loved him for it, but hated the fear it gave her. She loved, however, the passion that followed after. Gena held herself close, especially as he moved his lips. A moan escaped her when he started to kiss her cheek and neck respectively. Her hand went straight back to his hair, holding him as she let him kiss her like that. Damn this man knew exactly what he needed. And how to make her laugh into something as intimate as that: Asking about her day.
“You, Bellamy, are the worst!” She complained playfully. She did not actually think he was the worst, but damn he knew how to tease her. “Full of idiots and lacking the only idiot I wanted by my side. Or above me.” Damn it. She was lost to him. Maybe the passion was ignited by something that happened outside, but really, she couldn’t care less. She did care, but if he needed that, he should have that. Gena reached for her shirt and quickly lifted it over her head. She wanted to throw it off, but it remained stuck on a hand, again, she didn’t care. Instead she returned the hand to his head, once more pulling him to her for a kiss. As they kissed she let go. Shaking off the shirt, she reached for his belt, opening it, with a seductive smile.

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy couldn't help but smirk at her response. The playful banter was something he always enjoyed. The way they could joke, be at ease with each other and just . . . be themselves. It felt so damn natural to be with her. So incredible. Like he didn't have to pretend to be someone else. He didn't have to carry the weight of everything when in her presence. She, unlike most, helped alleviate it rather than add on to it. Expect him to do everything . . . when all she wanted from him, was to be himself. He couldn't express what that meant to him. And why it set her apart from anyone else.
The emotional connection they shared before exploring this level of physical intimacy . . . had always been strong. And whether it was selfish or not, he couldn't imagine what life would be like without her. He didn't want to. "Not under you?" He asked with the same teasing voice. He pulled his lips from her skin only to allow the removal of her shirt . . . something he was rather eager to watch and enjoy once removed. Once it was indeed off, his hands returned to her flawless body, his larger hands spanning out around her waist, his fingers on her stomach, his thumb on her back.
He eagerly returned the kiss, coaxing her mouth open with his own to deepen it, feeling her hands open his belt. His hands moved from her waist to her perfectly formed behind, running his hands over it for a moment before they dipped lower, to slightly lift her up. Allowing her to wrap her legs around him, he carried her the few steps over to the bed . . . laying her down on it while his own body followed, positioned comfortable on top of her without breaking the contact of their lips.

“No.”She laughed, no giggled. While she loved it when he let her dominate him, she also loved to be underneath him. The thing about being with Bellamy was that it was always equal. He only told her what to do when he believed to protect her. And how could she fault him for that? He had been robbed of choice and control of his life when he was young, the choice was only for his sister and nothing else. So she wanted him to be in control when it came to her safety. He was the reasons he could fend off some men after all. With her best interest at heart, she knew he could make mistakes, too. But she knew Bellamy always had good intentions. And someone who had good intentions was someone who should be treated as such. Not many did and that was what she hated. He deserved so much. But tonight it was about something else. It was about them, both of them.
Gena arched her back as he touched her skin, loving the feel of his hand, strong and big, on her skin that was not even remotely smooth, but for some reason Bellamy enjoyed it. Maybe like she enjoyed his hand, no matter how not soft they were. They were the hands of someone, who took matters into his own hands. “I like to see my strong boyfriend above me.” She finished her thought belatedly, but it made it no less true. She loved to see his arms flex, just like she loved to feel his hands on her behind as she wrapped her legs around his waist to let him carry her to the bed. It was small, many would complain. But for her it was perfect. They usually slept tightly entangled anyway. And sex, well you needed to be close to do that anyway. Gena looked up at him once she lay on the bed, him over her as he kissed her. Usually her eyes were closed but now she was staring, drinking him in, unbelieving of how lucky she was.
“Bellamy… I love you.”

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Iellamy… I love you." All other thought fled his mind as these words filled the air. He slightly raised his head to look at her, soaking in the meaning of each syllable. The way it warmed his entire body, to the very core of his heart. Being with her, he felt alive. As if he still had a soul; still had some semblance of humanity. Yet these words . . . were ones he not even dare dream of. They felt incredible, and yet . . . further assured him of how utterly undeserving he was of her love. He felt it with her, but hearing the verbal confirmation . . . set everything to a whole other level. A whole new dimension of intimacy that Bellamy had always shunned away. For his entire life, he couldn't allow another to love him nor give that love to a person.
Not in the form of a romantic relationship. Gena had been his first girlfriend, his first committed partner . . . the first woman he loved in such a way. Vocalizing it though, was all the more difficult. He felt it. Of course he did. How could he not love such an incredible woman. Yet all he could do in this moment was look at her; gaze at her. Every emotion he felt for her seeping out of the mere gaze. No guard was raised, everything was lowered. Perhaps his love for her was practically written all over his face. But still left unsaid.
He lowered his lips to hers, gently kissing the mouth that uttered these words. Genuine and sincere; just like Gena was. Letting the embrace linger for only a few moments, he turned his head to the side, his cheek rested against hers as he closed his eyes. He wished they could stay in this moment forever; he wished he could feel this way forever. This peace. A sanctuary and safe haven he had found in her company. He wasn't thinking; only feeling. And it was those feelings that prompted his unguarded words to slip out uncontrollably.
"I love you too." And he was damn sorry for it. How could he allow himself to be loved and to love, when he had deprived so many others of it? He wasn't worthy of Gena's love, yet did nothing to push her away. Not like he had done before with others. It was too late for that at this point. He was hers, in every sense of the word. Turning his head to look back at her, almost fearing that one day she would realize what a monster he was, he captured her lips with his own, this new relevation and admittance to each other somehow already making the kiss more powerful. More incredible. Just . . . more of everything.
