.:Personality:.   Abbie has the personality of a born leader; at times ruthless but also compassionate.  She will help any who is in need despite what her leaders tell her, often putting her in sticky situations.  While she believes in a higher authority, if they choose a different path than what she believes is right, she will do what is necessary.  Due to this, Abbie will take whatever consequences that are handed out for her insubordination.  She has a hard time accepting death if she thinks it can be avoided and often suffers from guilt for what she chose as her husband's fate.

.:History:.   Born on the Ark, Abbie excelled in the medical department and eventually rose to become the Chief Medical Officer.  She married Jake Griffin and they had a child, Clarke.  Abbie's strive to do what was right for the Ark has always motivated her, thus when the choice came to try and stop her husband or let him cause havoc on the Ark, she was forced to do what she thought was necessary.  After being left a widow, she focused only on continuing to do what she thought was right, even going so far as stopping Kane from taking over as Chancellor.  She tried to make everyone on the Ark see that the Earth was survivable but because of her rebellious actions most chose not to believe her, ending in the deaths of several hundred of the Ark.

Finally she arrived on Earth in search of her daughter, Clarke, but found that things had gone awry.  To her great disappointment, Kane had turned around once more and she was forced to go against him again in the search of her daughter.  When she found her daughter, however, she had to learn how to let go because Clarke was no longer a child.  She had grown into a leader, one that challenged Abbie at every corner.  Kane gave her the badge as Chancellor but after finding it hard to lead her people and heal them as well as protect and befriend them, she held a vote that turned sideways and thus Pike took over.  Abbie is currently doing what she can to salvage the situation in Arkadia and still continuing her rebellious ways in order to help Kane and all those who are trying to save Arkadia from the Grounders.
