.:Name:. Lincoln
.:Nick Name:. Linc, The Grounder, The Reaper
.:Affiliation:. Grounder| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ |
.:Physical Appearance:. Lincoln is an imposing mass of man, as it seems as all potential Grounders are in the like. He was thoroughly bred and trained for war from any early age; which, no doubt, left an underlying tone of muscle mass upon his frame and allows him the added appearance of a warrior to rival that of his Grounder compatriots and brethren. Lincoln also has tribal tattoos that seem to range all around his body; though, they are just on the warrior's head, back, chest, and arms. He also has a shaven head.
.:Height:. 6'3"
.:Portrayed by:. Randy Whittle| ~ • ~ | Personality | ~ • ~ |
.:Personality:. In contrast to most of his Grounder brethren and their traditional customs, Lincoln was always the one who didn't necessarily agree with his people's ways. Which was evident by him going out of his way to aid the male who had fallen from the sky when he was little, before he was eventually forced to murder the injured man by his father, simply because it was the way. He was told to hate the dwellers from above since his adolescence, though Lincoln evidently set out on his own way and even struck up a relation with a sky girl in the process---Octavia.
Lincoln's regard for human life and the sense to get away from leading a life of savagery with his people, made him who he is today. He had decided that he wanted to be more than just a Grounder, thoughts wanted to be focused on other things than just senseless killing of people who hadn't done any harm directly to them. This was why he found himself aiding the hundred delinquents that were sent to perish on Earth, even though his brethren had already driven a stake through what small chances that had of acquiescing to a mutual understanding as it was. Yet, even after the strenuous torture at the hands of Bellamy Blake and the like, Lincoln still stood by the delinquents in their conquest for peace, and was even viewed as a traitor by his own clan for aiding in something that could have directly stopped the very prospect of another all out war between disagreeing factions. That was all it was, anyway. Just a simple disagreement that could have been hashed out, though his Grounder brethren didn't really see it as such. That is where the customs from which they were little sprung up and typically decimated any chances of peace between dwellers of the soil and the sky.
.:Special Skills:. Lincoln is as knowledgeable as about any person on the geographic layout of the land. Also, since he was trained in the art of war since his youth, Lincoln has also become a skilled warrior in his own right. Also, the abilities of war also come tagged with the abilities of scouting out of head for any informalities in enemy positions or even tracking rogue people trudging the prominent Grounder territory. Lincoln's hands are not only just skilled with tools made for war, but he uses whatever he can to sketch and paint things within the security of his cave. Lincoln has documented drawings of nuclear explosions and even the pod harboring the hundred delinquents falling to Earth. His skills may not be on the level of a Picasso, but he is a talented artist all the same.| ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ |
.:Birthplace:. Earth
.:Family:. N/A (Mother and father more than likely are deceased)
.:Occupation:. Warrior/Scout
.:History:. As previously mentioned, Lincoln grew up in the custom ways as all Grounders had----people that fell from the reigning heavens above were to be viewed as hostile threats and no formalities were to be stricken up with them. It seemed as if his people had been trying to drill the point across since his adolescence, though their lessons mostly fell on deaf ears. He was significantly confused once he was told that sky people were viewed as threats and should be approached with only lethal intent. However, one a pod fell from the sky with an injured man inside, Lincoln did not directly kill the man as Grounder customs called. Instead, Lincoln attempted to nurture the man back to health in the best way he could without them directly communicating (he couldn't speak English at that time). After three days of his generous biddings, he informed his father of the situation and he was immediately forced to take his father to the site and execute the man whom he was attempting to help.
After the senseless killing of the injured man, it seemingly made Lincoln more regressive in terms of accepting the terms of his people and what was eventually pushed him away to his clan to travel when he came of age. During one of Lincoln's various outings throughout the land, he eventually crossed paths with Luna of the Boat Clan in his travels. However, as time progressed and with feeling that he had learned an ample amount of knowledge from his travels, he returned home to live a life of normalcy with his clan. The day the delinquents crashed to Earth from a disengaged piece of the Ark in the sky, was the day when his natural affinity towards Sky People took a drastic turn. Over the course of weeks since their abrupt landing, Lincoln intensely scrutinized the new faction as they adjusted to life on the soil, got their quarrels out of the way, and eventually began to form some kind of civilization. On one of his optical analysis of the group, he had become particularly smitten with a female who her compatriots called Octavia. He even had various drawings of her in his notebook to compensate for the affinity and he would eventually have his chance to directly interact with her. Octavia wandered from the camp and eventually fell down a steep hill, where Lincoln eventually came to her rescue and took her to his cave, there he bandaged her leg. Though, fearing for her life from the misconceptions brought on by his brethren, she attempted to flee and Lincoln had to rescue her again!
