whatever THE HELL WE WANT Bellamy felt an array of emotions. Frustration. Anger. Fear. Concern. So many things, all due to a multitude of reasons. Bellamy had come down to Earth to protect his sister . . . and to secure a future for what would be his second child with Gena. They weren't able to give it up. It wasn't within Bellamy to be able to terminate a child. Octavia was a huge part of his life, and he could not even begin to imagine depriving another child of a life.
Of depriving their first born with the chance to be a sibling. And with depriving Gena the opportunity to mother a second child. So Bellamy knew that the best chance they had, was to come down to Earth. He had to. He couldn't forsake his sister. But Earth, had its own dangers. They had lost so many. Too many. Bellamy had failed in protecting them, and with the rest of the Ark having come down . . . he had thought that they would be able to get everyone from the drop ship to safety.
That, and he longed for the moment he could see Gena and Maximus, refusing to believe that they hadn't made it. Being separated from the woman he loved, and from his son . . . was more painful than he could ever express. And it was why he felt anger boiling with him as he was a prisoner within the Ark. He had attacked Murphy, a man who was a threat to their people. Who had murdered two innocents. Who had shot Raven. Because of his attack on the man, Bellamy was stuck here. A scream erupted and he would recognize it anywhere.
Gena. Marcus had told him that she and Maximus were alive, but that was all the information he had. He didn't know if the second child was discovered, if they forced her to terminate it. He didn't know a damn thing! And he felt all the more powerless, helplessly listening to her cries of pain, and feeling his heart become consumed with fear and worry. All he wanted was to see his family. He needed to see them. To hold them. He had already sent Octavia with Lincoln so that she could be saved. He needed to know that his lover, his son, and their unborn child were all safe.

Nobody had known that a space station crashing from the sky could induce labor, but it did. When they crashed, she was luckily in Alpha. During the chaos after the second dropship started, her pregnancy was discovered, but nobody bothered anymore. They all thought they would die anyway, what did it matter that someone was pregnant with a second child then? Well it mattered when they fell to the ground. She was scared, really, that they would punish her baby once it was born, but a gentle smile reminded her that Exodus Charta no longer applied. They were on the ground, Gaia doctrine held their law now, second children were no longer forbidden, her baby was to be a legal child.
It was one worry gone. Her baby was safe, but what about the babies father? What was she to do with Max, her first child? She was lucky. An older woman held him and cared for him while she gave birth to baby number two. They couldn’t go to medical, so they had no idea what the baby would be. It turned out Bellamy and her had a little girl. They kept her there for a bit after she was born, to make sure she and the new baby Blake were fine. Then, finally they told her where she could find Bellamy. In lock up. For assaulting someone. Wonderful. But it didn’t matter. Max wanted to see his Dad. And a newborn little Lady surely wanted to meet him, too.
Max walked ahead with a guard, proud to be a big brother now, even though Gena was pretty sure little Maximus had no idea what that meant yet. The guard opened the door to lockup and announced “You have a visitor, Blake.” But the visitor certainly didn’t wait for the announcement. Gena could watch as Max squealed “DADDY!” and ran towards him, throwing his arms around Bellamy. Gena waited a moment before rounding the corner, holding the wrapped up newborn daughter of theirs. But everything she had wanted to say was lost on her mind when she saw him or rather his face.
“Who did this to you?”

whatever THE HELL WE WANT Each second that passed was pure torture. The not knowing. Not a single person coming in to tell him anything. Whether Gena, their son, and their unborn child were alright. Was it part of his punishment? He paced around, too restless to remain in one spot as he just stared helplessly up, trying to figure out how to get the hell out of here if they weren't going to let him out. He was unsure how much time had passed until a voice broke the painful silence. Bellamy turned his head around and the moment he did, he saw his son hurrying toward him. Bellamy crouched down just in time to feel Max's arms wrap around his neck, as Bellamy's arms engulfed his son, scooping him off the ground, clutching him tightly in his arms.
Bellamy closed his eyes tightly shut, his face burying in his son's neck as he felt the sting of tears in his eyes. He breathed out, a sound of pure relief to hold his son, to bask in the familiarity of having him in his arms. He never wanted to let him go again. Words failed him, overcome by emotion in this moment. More approaching footsteps was the only thing that pulled him out of it enough to open his eyes, and see Gena. But more than that . . . to see a young bundle that she carried with her. Without letting of of his son, he walked toward her.
"Oh my god," he breathed, quietly one arm holding Max against him, while his other went to reach out to touch their baby . . . pausing midway, the overwhelming emotion taking him over again. The sting of tears no longer a threat, as he felt a few slip from his eyes. Perhaps difficult to even notice with the markings of the battle they had fought. Blood and dirt stained face. This would be the first image of their father that they would see . . . but he was too selfish to deprive himself of this moment. Bellamy finally softly touched the blanket, peeking it back so that he saw the sight of their beautiful baby.
"She's beautiful," he said in the same breathless voice, another tear slipping from his eyes as he swallowed. It was too much. This was all too much to take in. Because since the first time since arriving on the ground, he felt that fate had been kind. His family was here, with him -- the only missing member being Octavia. But he had a son, a daughter, and Gena. Bellamy's eyes rested on Gena, taking in her beautiful sight.
The way she always made him feel. Words escaped him as always, and ignoring her question completely, he instead just leaned over and softly pressed his lips against her own in a tender kiss. Easing out of it he rested his forehead against hers, his eyes remaining closed, though the beauty of this moment caused another tear or two to fall. One arm holding their son, the other touching their newborn daughter, and his forehead resting against Gena's forehead. For a moment, for this singular moment . . . after all the hell that this Earth was, he finally felt a piece of heaven.

For Gena the sight of Bellamy and their children was the most beautiful sight in this world. Maximus have frequently asked about his Dad, missing him terribly of course, since he adored Bellamy. Hell, the toddler adored him in every position. Bellamy was his hero. And he was his hero even more now. Because Gena had to tell him something when he asked. And the answer had been the truth: That his Dad went down to the ground to protect his aunt and his sibling and them. And thus Bellamy was even more Maximus' hero than before and Gena would always continue to encourage that. He was a great man. Willing to get hurt for them, even though she hated it - and damn she could turn into a lioness about her family, but now, full of emotion and hormones from their daughters birth, Gena wanted to slowly and strategically hurt those who hurt her Bell.
For now she had to content herself with watching Bellamy peak into the bundle she was holding, taking in the sight of the freshly cleaned up and tired newborn. Gena knew she herself was looking like hell and it felt like she had been through hell, having had to worry about her son, her husband and having contractions on a crashing space station. She loved the way he was crying, the way he looked like he was about to burst with pride and joy. It gave her strength, too. She waited, let him take the lead in the situation that was him reuniting with his family and she wanted him to enjoy, because he deserved it. He was obviously through such a hard time for them. After their soft and loving kiss - somewhere someone coughed, but she did not acknowledge them at all - she smiled at him.
"You did it." She finally commented. They were safe. They were on the ground. They were together. Everything they dreamed of came to pass. Their daughter was safe, Max was safe. She could bet Octavia was around somewhere. Max chose this moment to tighten his hold around his Dad, clearly as unwilling to part from him than Bell was. And she would not make them. Actually, she'd probably kick anyones ass who tried to!
"You survived and we're here. And our daughter..." She trailed off, looking at the baby in her arms. They had fought so hard to have her. Now they did. "She's a true Blake. Couldn't wait to be born the first baby of our people on the ground. She's legal here. Gaia doctrine has no limitation on kids. She's legal, Bell!!"

my family MY RESPONSIBILITY Bellamy didn't know where to look. There were so many sights in front of him. Maximus. Their daughter. Gena. And each figure set him into a trance; mesmerized by the perfection of each member of his family. A family that he chose. "No. We did it." He didn't mean him included, but her, and the others. He still failed. He hadn't protected his family as best as he could . . . despite his attempt to try. Not to mention that the other delinquents were still missing. But right now, he was entirely focused on Gena and their children. bellamy offered a faint smile at her words, one that froze when she finished her sentence.
Their daughter was legal. The words made him feel a joy that he couldn't even express. It made more tears well in his eyes, more emotions flood his heart. It was all he had ever wantd for Octavia . . . for her to be legal. For her to embrace the world, explore it, truly be a part of it. To know that their daughter had that from birth, was . . . indescribable. The ground had a whole new set of dangers and risks, but she didn't have to hide from his own people. They didn't have to hide her from their own.
That, caused a few more tears to spill as he tried to process this, his gaze falling to their daughter, looking at her through his slightly moist eyes, thick with emotion. He leaned forward to kiss the top of her head, eyes still closed as a tear fell onto her perfect form. "I won't let anything bad happen to you. I promise." Words that became a tradition practically by now whenever graced by a child in their lives. Drawing his head back, he sniffed a little, leaning his head against his son's as he looked at Gena. "Does she have a name?" He wondered, curious to know if Gena had thought of one yet, knowing that whatever she picked, would be perfect.

A part of her wondered if this was similar to what Bellamy had once promised Octavia. And she was grateful for this now, because his promise meant he would hold it. He would fight his damn hardest in order to protect her, like he had always fought to protect Maximus and her. Gena felt a few tears herself. It was partially hormones, partially the pain she naturally still felt and partially the overwhelming relief of having Bellamy alive with them. Gena shook her head, a free hand touching her sons leg for a moment, so he wouldn't feel left out. It was important to both of them, she knew as much, because she knew Bellamy, to have none of their kids feel left out. Circumstance forced her before, but she would NEVER let it happen if she could do anything against it.
"We don't have a name for her yet." Gena replied softly. "To be honest, I thought we would have two more weeks until she wanted to join us." But she didn't. She wanted to join them then and there and she wasn't too early. Gena guessed she miscalculated a bit and then the crash sped things up. "I kind of want something to honor the luck she had. It all fell into place so nicely." They were alive and it would fall into place. It HAD to fall into place. They would make it. "You are the naming expert." As proven by their beautiful son Maximus, their greatest joy.

my family MY RESPONSIBILITY Bellamy kept his head leaned against his son's, continuing to absorb this seemingly perfect moment. He knew this didn't mean he'd been excused for his crimes, and the fear of leaving them once more to find the others was already starting to grow . . . but right now, he pushed it all aside. Just to enjoy this time, because it would be this very moment that would draw his strength, and keep him fighting. Just as it had always been his family that was his greatest incentive. Bellamy lightly smiled as she revealed that the name was not yet chosen. Gena was right. She was lucky; everything had come together. To have a baby so shortly after their landing was beyond risky. She seemed so content, this moment so easily being defined as happiness. True, happiness. Bellamy thought it over for a moment, somehow wanting to incorporate this, right here, into her name.
"Feliciana," he said, without thinking twice, the name falling from his lips so instinctively, so casually, with such an ease. He looked at Gena, wondering if he would find approval in her gaze. Something to include her own desire about the child being lucky, along with the joy of this reunion and circumstnaces of her birth. It could have been worse. A hell of a lot worse. Turning his head, he looked at his son. "What do you think?" He asked, leaning toward him until their noses touched for a moment, drawing back slightly. If his son was old enough, he would have allowed him the honor of naming their daughter. Just as his mother had allowed Bellamy to do so. But with his young it wasn't possible. Still. He wanted to include him in this. For being a big brother was a responsibility that Bellamy didn't need to thrust upon Max; their son would surely feel it already, and that instinct would only intensify as time went on and they both grew older.

Feliciana. that was a wonderful name for the little girl. She was lucky. She was hopefully happy, all of that was what Bellamy and her both wanted for both of their children. They wanted the best for them, a happy, safe life. And she loved the name. She loved the names they picked for them, hoping the meaning would translate to their lives. They deserved every bit of happiness in their life. They had already been through quite a lot already. In her young life, Feliciana had seen the crash of a space station, little Max even more. But now, for now all was fine. The four of them were together.
Gena watched as Bellamy and Max had their moment, noses touching like they sometimes did. Max grinned and nodded, then turned to the baby, still safely in her mothers arm. The toddler placed a sloppy kiss on his sisters forhead, before announcing "Hello Feliciana." Gena certainly took that as agreeing to his fathers naming choice. She shifted the baby, experienced at the child care that she was now secure enough to hold Feliciana with one arm, so she could touch Bellamy. She needed that touch, too. Truth be told she was exhausted after all of this, but she had to prioritize the kids.
"I'm going to ask them to release you. Or at least to give you house arrest, so you can be with us." They both knew how important the first days were. Not just for him. For Feliciana most importantly. The warmth she needed now. They needed to provide that. And she didn't want him to lose this. He lost so much already. So Gena finally shifted the baby into his arms. "Will you hold her while I do that?"
