THE HELL WE WANT
The summit had . . . not gone how Bellamy thought it would. He was hurt. Hurt that Clarke would reject him a second time. Hurt that he had fought hard to bring her home, and it was dismissed as if it was nothing. As if he was nothing. He had walked out that room, being done with her. He was too tired of it. Too tired of fighting. The emtoions at least helped numb is over exerted leg. Echo's betrayal was not far from his mind. Why she had dragged them here, he hadn't the faintest idea. He assumed it was to cause a disruption at the summit; to break the laws, perhaps even have them killed for it.
But Marcus and Clarke seemed to do some damage control. Not that Bellamy cared. He was displeased -- to say the least -- that the three of them were so quick to bow to Lexa. So willing to place their trust, their people's lives, in her hands. The last time they had, she had betrayed them. She would do no differently this time. Bellamy had to admit that Pike's support was what kept him going in this moment. The man seemed to be the only one who understood anything when it came to Grounders. Bellamy knew they were not all the same, but due to recent events . . . it was getting more and more difficult to differentiate between them. Because the one consistency they had: they always betrayed them.
He was eager to return home, to go to Arkadia and just unwind after the emotionally -- and physically -- taxing day. When they pulled through the gates, a few people came out, Monty among them. Bellamy could instantly tell by his face that something was wrong. He moved out of the rover, ignoring the pain in his leg as he approached him, though Monty was already half way near him. "Bellamy, it's Gena. Something happened at Mount Weather." Bellamy asked no further detail. Everything that had happened recently numbed him and was replaced with the sudden burst of fear and concern for the woman.
He moved as quickly as his damn leg would allow him to, a whole new rush of adrenaline pumping through his veins. He saw her as soon as he got into medical. On a bed, with Abby and Jackson close. Abby looked at him, and he saw something on her face he couldn't quite place. He moved over to stand directly next where Gena lay. "What the hell happened?" He asked the medical professionals. His concern was not only for Gena however. They had discovered something prior to his leaving. Something that gave him a new sense of hope and joy. A child, that grows in her womb. So right now, he scared for not only Gena . . . but their unborn child as well.
